Excellent. Dorian is inventive, original, creative and professional. He is never on time. Never... but, we went with it and we've been very happy with his attitude, his energy, his resources and, most important, his results. It is worth the wait. We have not worked with a "designer" before (I am an artist and designer myself...so...you can see how that works out) but I did not expect to be so happy with the process and the results. In fact, as I told him at our second meeting, "I expected to be disappointed" okay - we did see what he did to a friend of a friend's home, and that's how we learned of him. He's enjoying his work and you can feel that as you go through the process of inventing new rooms, new spaces. My wife and I could not be happier... well, maybe... but if we could, uh, we don't know it yet... and his prices... we could not believe that you can get custom made furniture for less than impossible-to-find-off-the-floor! We still have a few more pieces to get, and then we'll be done for a while, - but... he did things for our house we could NEVER have done by ourselves. Maybe all designers are like this? Maybe not. But I know we appreciate what he's done, what he can do, and we look forward to working with him again. By the way - he's moved. his new location is 209 Temple Ave in Long Beach. and it's called "Red Door Living". If you're like us (and our friend of the friend) you'll consider yourself lucky to have someone this helpful with you through the process.
