Bad experience and a complete waste of time.

They did a really good job and I paid about $700 on that work. We have used them before and they have been very good.

I called for an estimate, and Rick was out at our house within a couple of days. He was very responsive and accomodating of our schedules. His estimate was competitive, and he was very informative during the initial walk around of our house. We were scheduled within two weeks of the initial meeting, during which time we met with thier color consultant. The color consultant was very helpful and worked with us in not only choosing a color for the house, but helped us in forming an overall plan for the exterior of the house. We chose to go with a color of another house in our neighborhood, which she was able to match. Rick and his crew were at our house for two days while we were at work, so there were minimal interruptions. The entire job was done quickly and cleanly. Rick was very easy to work with and we are extremely happy with the quality of the work.

They answered my call right away, got me an estimate right away, and had a very fair price. Their price was lower than other companies by about 1 or 2 thousand dollars. They provided a detailed estimate that included what paint, how many layers, and how long it would take.

I would highly recommend Painting America. They are a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. They were very prompt and on time. The workers were really terrific young men. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I didn't even have a speck of dust on the floor after they completed their work. They really went above and beyond. The last day, after they varnished the doors it began to rain, they turned around and came right back out to make sure that they were covered properly. The owner is very professional. He gave me a quote and even though I had some additional things that needed to be completed, the charge remained the same.

They were very nice and professional in their quotations. We would have gone with them had their price not been so much higher than who we chose. My husband was very pleased with them so we would consider them in the future.

It was pretty good. They were always here when they promised. Their prep work was good, and they were pretty good about cleaning up. They were always in contact with me and kept me informed about what was going on, so the communication was good.

Painting America provided their bid and put us in their schedule to allow for us to have a paving stone patio installed before they started the job. The workers arrived between 0800 and 0900 almost daily. They placed their tools and equipment into a single location each day before leaving. They stayed on the job until it was finished.

This company referred by a friend did a great job when they originally painted the exterior a year ago. Everything was right on. What was really nice was the before and after picture before the work was done. About a month ago we finally had some touch ups done which took more time to arrange than anything else. To cut to the chase the company squeezed a one & half to two day job into one (long) day. There was considerable overspray onto the deck, onto a grill cover, onto the pool pump, and an exterior light. At the end of the day it got to be more rushed as the day ran out. I was left to put the pool fencing back together, and now to try to get the overspray off. A little disappointing after such a good start. The price to paint the house was approximately $6500.00. The touch ups and some forgotten work was $1300.00.

I was extremely happy with the job they did and I was just as impressed with their customer service. They were very accommodating with the short period of time I had available to get this service completed. They provided me with a three day job in a little over a day. There were a couple of areas that needed touched up afterwards, and they were happy to return and make sure I was happy with everything that was done.

Paining America (Rick in particular) gave us an estimate along with 4 other companies I got off Angie's List. Painting America was the only one with a professional bid and an honest approach. My husband and I went with Rick and we do not regret it one bit. Along with painting the interior of our home they refinished our doors, re-framed a wall in our laundry room, drywalled, plastered, removed wallpaper, and did some carpentry. All in all they did an amazing job and I will absolutely use them again. I highly recommend Painting America for ALL your household needs. The money spent is based on the entire project from start to finish.

Upon receiving numerous estimates on painting and refinishing the interior of our newly acquired home we chose Rick based on 2 things. 1. His professionalism and attention to detail. 2. Price. Along with painting the interior, he refinished doors, repaired rotten walls, re drywalled bathrooms, refrained walls, plastered and removed wallpaper. Rick and his crew were very professional and respectful of our belongings. They arrived on time and completed the jobs on schedule. I highly recommend Rick and Painting America for all of your household Robinson. (The price spent was based on ALL projects finished by Painting America.)

Rick Carter CEO/President showed up at time agreed upon for estimate for exterior painting of house and side stucco work & painting. Rick seemed very thorough and was getting me excited about all he was going to do, to my house in preparation for the painting. Rick took pictures and said I would have an estimate in 7-10 days. After waiting 2 weeks, my wife called to inquire. She was told how very sorry they were that we didn't receive a quote and asked for an email address and they would send the quote over email, as well as put quote in mail that day. It's been over 2 weeks since then and we still haven't received quote either by mail or email. Their loss.

I was in sticker shock when I got the quote. I had MANY quotes. I went with PA for the following reasons: Able to also complete my window removal; I didn't have to hire 2 contractors. Offered color consultant and were able to take a picture of my house and display my color choices, although this didn't work out as I had hoped. Rick was very professional, personable & competent. You knew that he knew his business and was going to make sure you were happy with the results. It looks like we have a new house. The crew was extremely personable and professional, their clean up was impeccable every night and they were easy to communicate with. We were not home during much of the prep. All of our neighbors commented on how much attention to detail was given. They had their houses painted previously and had not seen this type of workmanship before. They do not cut ANY corners. I could go on and on about the detail of their work and how happy we are with the results.

Didn't accept bid as estimate was almost twice what the next highest estimator was bidding. Also, estimator forgot that I already had my own paints. However, that would still not have accounted for the excessively large bid. Bid was over $2,000 for what ultimately cost me $975.00 from excellent painter. Lady who came to bid the job was rude. Also, she showed up several hours late after having forgotten the time of the appointment.

I found these guys on Angie's List and they were great. I loved them. They were perfect. They worked hard and I really think they lost money on me more than they made it. I was totally satisfied.

Painting America did a really good job. A few problems did come up that I thought they could have done a better job on. I also wish their prices would have been a bit cheaper, but I would still recommend them to others in our area looking for painters.

Exceptional job. The doors were perfect. An extremely difficult bi-fold door was personally hung by Rick, the President. His team showed up when promised, did a brilliant job, and cleaned up after themselves. Great experience.

Exceptional job. All work was performed as quoted, with no extras or additional charges. The amount I paid was exactly what was quoted. The team showed up on time, and Rick, the CEO, was personally on site during many of the days to make sure his workmen were performing excellent work. They did a GREAT job. They even made several trips to a custom moulding shop so everything would be perfect.

FABULOUS experience from start to finish. Rick's team members are all professionals. The job was quoted with all charges included - no hidden charges, no surprise "extras". He showed up when promised, and was one contractor who cleaned up after every day on the job. The work was stunning. The extra help of having a color consultant free of charge was also appreciated. I would completely recommend Painting America for ANY job, large or small.

Rick was a gem from start to finish. The actual job cost was slightly less than the estimate given, for which I was grateful. The detail and care that went into the prep and application was unlike anything I've experienced, and I've remodeled a lot of homes. Rick worked with me on color selection for the lighting and feel of the home, and also to highlight the architectural nuances in the house. Once the job was complete, the home was cleaned and put back in order. Rick's expert paint crew increased the value of this property considerably. I would recommend Rick and Painting America to anyone, and I will be using them again for my next projects!

Called and left message regarding estimate. Rick returned my call (so he has my contact info), but I was in the middle of dinner so he said he'd call back. Two days later he hadn't so I called and left another message. He immediately returned my call and said he would come over that afternoon to look at the job and that he'd call back later in the day for the address. He never called back... I've decide to pursue other companies that are more responsive & professional.

Very good. The job was scheduled immediately after we paid the deposit, the crew arrived the day scheduled and on time and continued to come consistently until the job was finished.
