Service was very good, It's working, I haven't had any pest. I have been using them since 2014.

I started hearing noises in my attic, and called Orkin to setup an appointment.  Part of the attraction was that they perform services on Saturday. Inspector came out, say evidence of rats in my attic, and set traps in my attic.  When the traps went off, I called in to have the traps inspected, and if there were any Rats caught they removed them.

Over the course of 2 months, 7 rats were caught in my attic, but I had to end my service with Orkin due to the nature of my infestation.  The Orkin guys were always courteous, and were able to make recommendations on what my options were regarding my situation.

I know going in that there are limits to what a bait and trap service can do, so even though Orkin was not able to finish eradicating my rats, they made a good start on finishing the problem.

I am very satisfied with them and we have never had any complaints. I do notice on the third month right before he comes out, we do have a little bit of ants and stuff but they all disappear once he comes out to spray. I'm not positive but I think they are green friendly.

They mow, clean and spray weed, etc. I like their representatives. They are very efficient, very kind and they are just a good company to deal with.

Forgot how labor intensive it is to double bag all things that can be ingested , boarding pets, temporarily moving out of the house ourselves just to have the entire house fumigated. A lotta work.....Then, once back in, reversing the process.

Rules changed since we last and quot;tentedand quot;. Orkin arranged for Gas Co to come out to turn the gas off; WE had to call Gas Co ourselves to arrange to have it turned back on. Gas Co would only give a ridiculous 5 hr window that had to be prescheduled in advance which resulted in us staying out an extra night. Had to arrange to leave a key out back for the Gas Co to get into the house to do this- not happy with that.
House tented. Massive signage clearly seen. Orkin subs out the actual fumigation to another company. Tenting took 48 hrs then another 24hrs before getting the all clear. Moved out of the house Sunday night for a 7AM start on Monday June 10th and not back in the house again til Thursday evening of that same week due to Gas Co scheduling issue. Chose not to move back in til we knew the gas had been turned back on (we wouldn't have had any hot water otherwise).
Orkin screwed up and did not schedule the guy to come out to do the Premise 2 spraying in attic and garage as per our contract after the tent had been removed the way it was originally scheduled. . Had to wait til the following Tuesday afternoon (spraying only done in the afternoon apparently) and by then our houseguest had arrived. Had to turn off all the house and attic fans for 3 hrs = quite stuffy in the house. Thankfully it wasn't also 90 degrees outside so OK.Opened the windows and my 2 parrots + 3 adults were all fine.
The fumigation includes 1 yr warranty re: termites. When Orkin guy out to do the spraying on the Tues after the fumigation he rec'd treating bare replacement wood prior to paint priming to give added protection to known termite prone area which was covered at no extra cost to us. Good idea and had that done as well so appreciated the heads up to do that, something neither of us had given any thought to.
The experience isn't enjoyable and involves a LOT of prep work but in the end everything worked out, just not as originally anticipated. Here's hoping we can get several years worth of benefit from this whole experience.

Within weeks he put the bake stations the rats had gone away. We only dealt with one person the guy who comes here and he is very courteous, very nice, calls ahead of time to tell me that he is coming out the next day. He would be approximately at the time he says he would be here. We don't have rats anymore. He is very effective in doing what he says he is going to do, courteous and timely.

Orkin Pest Control provides a great service. I love them.

They are the best. I have been using them for fifteen years. They come out once a month to provide service. The service is great. The serviceman Lloyd is super polite and respectful.

Once I was through dealing with the very pleasant inspector and paperwork man and the contracted company showed up, the experience became awful. I had done everything Orkin asked to reaady the house. I made arrangements to be out of town and to board my pets. When the MegaFume representative arrived (I had not been told by Orkin that the work would be contracted out to anybody, much less MegaFume.) The man in charge was abrupt. As requested I gave him keys to the house and to the property gates. I told him that because we live in an area of high homelessness and the back of the house is on a heavily travelled alley the gates MUST be closed and locked at all times. Later that afternoon I was called by my brother who lives in one of the other 2 houses on the property and was told that the alley gate was open, unlocked, and the protective wires above it had been removed and the tent dropped through the opening. He called and the MegaFume people came out, denied being told that the gate must be locked, and said the tarp HAD to be placed in the opening. If that had been a block wall attached to the house he would have had to tarp over and around it. He was just looking for the easy way out. After some discussion he did revise his tarps so that the gate could be closed and locked. As there are 2 other families and dogs living on the property and as we are all very conscientious about the locking of the gates (much like locking your front door) there is no way I would not have made it clear about locking the gates and which was the gate key.. Then, when my brother asked the company to call him before entering the property again to check the tarp, machines or whatever, they did not return his calls after. Then when he used a different phone they called back immediately. They accused him of lying about having called (cell phones keep records), at one point said they had no keys (the weekend people did manage to turn off the machines and eventually untent apparently using our keys which were in kept in their office per protocol. However, they never did call to announce their presence to the other people living on the property.To summarize a bad experience. The company Orkin contracted to do the work put property and people at risk by not taking the time to tarp around the gate as told. They were rude, confrontive, and called my brother a liar. They removed the tent a day earlier than my contract had stated. When I contacted Orkin by email they did not respond for many days. I then talked twice with a pleasant man, told him my story. He asked what I wanted. I told him. After the second call he said he'd call me back. A week later I called him and after rummaging through files he found my paperwork. I told him that poor communication had been a major part of my complaint and his not getting back to me reflected poorly on the company. I clarified a couple of points, restated what I expected. He sid he'd call back . He did and offered a rebate which I told him was unacceptable. He said he had to make more calls and when he called me again he did offer a rebate which was acceptable. I had gotten several estimates for the fumigation job and went with Orkin figuring that it is a big brand named company and assumed because of that they would be responsive to our needs regarding gates and entering the property where other families live. My mistake!!

Saw swarming termites. Ron Williams from Orkin came out on a Monday. He explained the infestation and said house-tenting was needed. I found the price within my range. He scheduled the fumigation for Thursday of the same week (no wasted time here!) I moved out for two days. Fumigation was completed right on time. I was given plastic bags for all food stuff, etc. Clothing and linens did NOT have to be removed from my home. The fumigators were right on time. They tented my house and when I returned today (Saturday) I found they had opened ALL drawers and cabinets and found (and bagged) some things I had forgotten. I had to leave a beautiful, 20-year-old fiddle leaf fig plant in the house because it is was large to move. To my surprise, when I returned to the house today the plant was in great shape. And . . . there is absolutely no fumigation residue smell. I am very pleased with Orkin.
