Melo Gardens

Solomon and the guys at Melo Gardens were AMAZING throughout my full front yard renovation!! I replaced my boring, water-guzzling front yard with new modern, eco-friendly landscaping (part of the Long Beach lawn-to-garden program). I couldn't be happier with my finished project! Melo gardens took care of tree trimming, poured a fresh concrete pathway, installed new irrigation, and found some really awesome plants at a reasonable price. Solomon was super attentive to my needs (and trust me, I can be needy lol). He was happy to make adjustments during the installation and also made some really great recommendations. You can tell he definitely knows what he's talking about. All my neighbors have been asking about my contractor I'm happily telling everyone about my great experience!

Melo went above and beyond in transforming my front yard using beautiful plants, a new flagstone pathway and outdoor lighting for my trees and new pathway. They showed up immediately after I contacted them and were the first to give me a quote, and they finished the job in a timely fashion. They have reached out several times to check in on things and have even showed up a few times to make sure everything is growing in. I really appreciate the work they did and would recommend them for anyone looking for quality yard work.

Everything went great from start to finish! Melo Gardens did a phenomenal job on our property. Our front and backyard had gotten totally out of control over the last year. Sal/Alex and their crew transformed it in just a couple of days. They were VERY efficient! Sal is SUPER knowledgeable about plants and always willing to help! We were very pleased and highly recommend them!!!

Solomon was friendly and communicative, and happy to share his knowledge of landscaping, soil, and plant maintenance above and beyond what the job required. The team was incredibly efficient and was able to finish the project in just one day. Alex, Solomon’s business partner, came by in person as the team was wrapping up to ensure I was satisfied, and I really appreciated how customer-focused they are. Very professional. I’d mentioned to Solomon that we were going to be replacing mulch in our front xeriscape. He called me a couple weeks after the project was finished to offer some extra mulch he had on hand, just so it wouldn’t go to waste. An incredibly thoughtful gesture. Couldn’t be happier with Melo Gardens - highly recommended.

They specialize in drought tolerant landscaping but were able to accommodate my individual preferences. They did amazing hardscaping work on my patio and even gave me a beautiful tree free of charge because I referred them to my neighbor. Highly driven team with an eye on sustainability and design.

Melo did a fantastic job remodeling our front and backyard and we couldn’t be happier! Our project manager Solomon walked us through every step of the process from design to installation and was always available to answer any questions we had. It felt amazing to sit back and relax knowing there were professional eyes on our project. 10/10 would recommend Melo to anyone interested in sprucing up their yard.
