 + -1 moreWe initially found these guys when we bought our house. We discovered water in the crawl space under our house (built in 1923). We had 3 different plumbers out all with very different explanations for the water and very different proposed remedies, all involving thousands of dollars for repair. Marquez Brothers was the 4th company we called. Within 15 minutes of being at our house Jesse discovered the problem - that none of the other plumbers had been able to. The washing machine was not hooked up to the sewer line!!! Crazy, but true. The cost to fix was very reasonable. What a relief. These guys are great. Very responsive during an emergency as well.
Description of Work: We have used Marquez Brothers over the past 11 years for all our plumbing and heating needs. These guys are great! We have had them perform work at our home and our rental property. They have refurbished a wall heater and a floor heater, hooked up two washers and dryers, cleared drains and replaced a water heater.

 + -1 moreAfter installing new countertops and a kitchen sink (Home Depot subcontractors), it was discovered that the replacement of a drop-in sink with an undermount sink made it so that the garbage disposal was now lower than the drain pipe down to the sewer. The Home Depot contractor said it was out of his scope to open up the wall, cut the pipe out and replace it with a lower one, so he left the job unfinished. I immediately looked up some listings and got on the phone with Marquez Bros. They had someone at my house within an hour, not just to take a look and give me an estimate, but guys with tools, parts, and know-how to actually do the job on the spot. The whole thing took less than two hours to fix, and they even snaked out the old drain pipes because it was looking like it was getting occluded something fierce. Now I finally have a functional kitchen again after a minor remodel that has dragged on for over a month.
Description of Work: Revised kitchen sink drain pipe and attached the garbage disposal to the new drain pipe. The job required about an hour and a half of labor, opening the wall, and some additional parts.

 + -1 moreExcellent. I had paid a handyman to install a heat pump that moves the hot water from the garage . That person had such a dificult time rewelding the pipes that when he finished I call Mr. Marquez and had him come out and reweld the lines and reinstall the shut off valve. It took Mr. Marques a short amout of time, and it was done correctly.I would highlly recommend Marquez Brothers for any plumbing issues. They have been in business for years and can handle any plumbing task. They stand behind their work!
Description of Work: This is an older report. I have used the Marquez Brothers over the past three years for different plumbing tasks. They are excellent! They know their trade, they work quickly and neatly. The various jobs inclluded replumbing the bathroom, fixing leaky faucets and showers, clogged toilets. They do it all. My last job was to reweld the inlet valve leading into the water heater.

Description of Work: I manage my father's 100 yr. old 4 unit apartment building and I must say that I am relieved to have found Marques Bros. Plumbing. I first used them 4 yrs. ago and was well satisfied with the results and this time was no exception. I had noticed water leaking to the outside wall and called them to help. They were on time and very professional. After inspection, they gave me a quote that I knew was the best I could do (I've done this sort of thing before) and I left them to do the job. About 2 hours later they were done. Inspection on my part made me very happy. My husband is a plumber so I know a good job when I see it. It was clean and impressive. They cleaned up after themselves which also made me very happy and were very professional and friendly. I recommend this company to anybody who is looking for a plumber who is johnny on the spot and has a high work ethic. They replaced the broken drain from the upstairs kitchen to the main sewer line and added a clean out for later snaking.
