The quality of service on scale of 1-5, 5 as outstanding. They are a 5. They company is an established family owned business located in Long Beach. They have been in the business for over 30 years. They specialize in new home construction/remodeling, anything to do with homes. If I have to do any project they will be the contractor I will hire. The price was reasonable. The quality was impeccable. They have top notch sub contractors. Cody is a true craftsman. It was above and beyond.

To hire a contractor who started out in the Plumbing business could not have been a better choice for a bathroom remodel. Everything went wonderfully. They knew the law so I was able to do things correctly. They had ideas that even I did not have, having dreamed about this for a few years. The contractors son, who was also a licensed contractor was the main person on the job and here every day. I would HIGHLY recommend them. The price was fair and competitive.

Incredibly well. Mark and Cody Lewis were attentive and responsive to our expectations for this remodel and extension. Their crews were professional, timely, and oversight was like clockwork. When any issues came up we were immediately consulted to discuss options. We found that we were in good hands and could trust and rely on them to do a great job.

Mark and his crews and subs were on time and on budget. Easy to work with too.

They added a window and removed the popcorn ceiling and painted a room. They did a real good job with the clean out. The work was good. The only problem I had was with communication due to a language barrier. The work was complete in two or two and a half days. The work is fine. The price was reasonable. 

• Mark Lewis sub-contracted most of the project, acting as the general contractor. He had worked with these sub-contractors for many years. They were skilled and competent craftsmen. We were very pleased with the work of his contractors. They did a quality job on time and cleaned up each day. Our friends & family have complimented us on the the new look of our kitchen. We have no hesitation in recommending Mark Lewis to others.

I wish I could give them 100 stars. The service was superb. They were priced very competitively. I needed the job done fast and they came through for me big time. Every trade was very professional, accommodating, on time, friendly, knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again and can't recommend them enough. A huge shout out to Sam and Cody - Thank you both for making it all happen.

The patio cover at our rental property was reported to have issues.  After initial inpection, we could see that there was visible dry rot of the support beams.  Mark Lewis Constructioin came out and gave a reasonable bid.  Mark started the project on time.  It was soon discovered that the wood rot was worse than initially thought to be.  This caused more work and repairs to be completed.  Mark took the time to photograph the additional wood rot issues and contacted us prior to extending the work.  He did a good job explaining each part of the job and what was involved with the repairs.  He worked very reasonably with us on the extended cost.  The workmanship was fantastic!  The job (with the extended project) was still completed on schedule.

We are very happy with the job. Mark is a local guy and family man. We'd call him again for any home remodel.

We received quotes from about 8 different contractors. Mark came in the lowest, but that's not why we choose him. We decided to use Mark because he came off as a down to earth guy, who really knew his stuff and has about 30 years of experience working in Long Beach. When we discussed what we wanted, he listened and gave what seemed to be very honest feedback. The listening part was important for us, so many of the other contractors tried to spin our ideas into a higher budget or create a new idea they thought was better. We also like to support local and not big business.
Mark's budget/invoices are very easy to read and he gives updated invoices each time a payment is made (he has you pay a little at a time, rather than half up front or all at the end). We were in charge of purchasing all our new products for the house, such as,
the bathtub, toilet, flooring, paint, cabinets, etc. It was a lot of work, but I felt like I was in charge of my over all design, which I liked. He and his team informed us a week or two ahead of time when they would need an item and we made sure it was there on time, not to slow down the job. The job was said to take 10-12 weeks and it went 12 1/2 weeks. Not bad!
One of the overall qualities I value with Mark and his workers was Mark's customer service and Bubba, his main foreman. Mark's customer service is great, a really easy guy to talk to and always did his best to give me what I wanted. He was always available if we needed to meet and had no problems stopping by the house anytime day or night. Bubba who does most of the work and is there day-to-day is an amazing craftsman, is extremely nice and trustworthy. He was a joy to see every morning, which I valued since some people are crabby at the crack of dawn.
The final total was 13% over the original estimate. There were add-ons that with every major construction project come up once you start removing the walls.  I thought 13% was pretty low since most people say expect 20%.  All additional fees are paid for at the end. My only advise, if you use Mark, is make sure you are getting the additional fee updates along the way so you don't have any surprises at the end.
I would definitely use Mark and his team again!

Everything went as scheduled and as planned.  Kitchen remodels aren't for the faint of heart though.  You should have realistic expectations about how much disruption the process is.   Also, if you don't have a design background, I would recommend using an interior or kitchen designer to help you make all the little decisions.   I used an interior designer to help me choose paint colors, flooring choices, tile backsplash, etc.   Our kitchen turned out great and we're 100% happy with the work Mark Lewis and his subcontractors did.   Pictures coming soon.

They were excellent and the work was very well done.  I'm very happy with them and the price was pretty good.  They were responsive though it took a few days longer but they still came in under my expectation.

The results were excellent! Everything was handled in a timely and efficient manner. I was pleased with the level of customer service that Mark provided. All of the trades people that worked on the project were top notch! I would highly recommend them.
