Very poorly. Both realtors didn't know what the heck they were doing. I thought that since they were involved in a short sale that they would have some clue. The agents will tell you everything that you MUST do but will put absolutely nothing in writing. When I asked the listing agent when I could plan to close, the agent gave me a specific date. I asked to talk to the bank and, according to California law, the listing agent can block you from speaking with the bank. I asked to get a date from the bank in writing, but the listing agent danced around that issue. When I originally questioned my agent about their experience guiding customers through a short sale, the agent informed me that they had done several short sales. When I asked specifically , "how many" they said several. I asked more than 2? they told me "yes". I asked "more than 5?" and they assured me that they had many more than 5. I asked more than 10 and they assured me that they had done at least a dozen. At the conclusion of the sale, I saw several instances where each agent had demonstrated their total lack of knowledge of working with customers and processing a short sale. I would strongly advise anyone from considering keller williams if they want solid expertise when purchasing a short sale property. Go with a regular sale as you'll very likely get the same total lack of knowledge that I got. Save your money and go with a regular sale with a different company.
Description of Work: I purchased a short sale and had two keller williams agents on th the transaction. Neither one had a clue about how to handle a short sale. I could not get a straight answer from either realtor when I asked very straight forward questions. Both realtors would dance around specifics like Fred Astaire. I would strongly recommend that if people are looking at a short sale purchase, do not use keller williams as you'll be the "learning experience" for the realtors and it will cost you dearly. Go to a short sale seminar because if you don't, you'll get burned.
