(A) They took over 2 months to build the cabinet. When we asked to come see the process of the cabinet and to pick out the panelling design such as grooved or flat we drove 25 minutes out of our way to their shop and the cabinet worker was a no show/no call. His boss, Juan, who is the son of The Juan of Juan's cabinets simply said "I'm sorry but my worker is not working so good and I apologize for him not being here." We let it go and basically went in to pick something out. It went well, we left excited about what was to come. (B) I drew out a picture with exact measurements on grid paper for Juan to see how we wanted the design of the cabinet to look. EXACT MEASUREMENTS on a grid and went over the whole project together about 2 times. When the cabinet finally came to us the drawers were put in upside-down, cabinet maker built it upside down (it's a wall mount vanity) and the colors were off. (C)The whole cabinet was supposed to be a grayish color. The drawers were greenish while the rest of it was grey. So basically the cabinet guy didn't paint everything together after creating the color sample once. So now the drawers are different colored than the cabinet frame and the bathroom has a lot of light and it's the first thing you notice when you walk in. She Juan took bad the drawer faces to have them repainted to match. We couldn't understand how he would do that without the cabinet for reference. It was supposed to be done in 3-5 days and 10 days later they still aren't done. They wanted payment for the completed vanity yet I still didn't have drawer faces and the color was off and so were the measurements which needed to match the agreed upon measurement for the space. Because they didn't build it to the right specs we had to change the bathroom glass door placement area, open a wall to ensure supports were in place, and patch it back up. Yeah, that cost us more money. They thought an inch too bog wouldn't have made a different but it did. Especially since the cabinet we bought could't be returned. (D) It took them over 3 months to complete a vanity and cut the countertop and it was supposed to take 2-3 weeks. His worker was basically in charge and couldn't get it right. Supposedly they can customize and make anything you want except for really nice stuff I guess. Not sure. It was a pretty simply order considering they had a professionally drawn out cabinet measurement. Then when it was finally done, supposedly, there were no brackets to hang the wall mount vanity. None. Zero. The cabinet guy looked at me when he brought it 3 hours late on the wrong day that he didn't know it was supposed to be wall mounted and that he thought the order was for a sample to show in the shop. Uhhh, really? Why am I dealing with this nonsense, I am the customer. Then he starts to badmouth Juan, his boss, saying he doesn't know what he is doing. How unprofessional and inappropriate. (E) The guy who cuts the countertop messed the marble slab up so much we had to buy a new one. For anyone that has purchased white crystal marble knows that it isn't cheap. You have to have a special blade and technique to cut this type of marble because it breaks apart easily into small chunks, not dust. I mentioned this prior to the job being done stating how expensive and delicate the stone was and that a special diamond blade would have to be used. The countertop was destroyed. Chunks missing, then they tried to fill the chunks and instead of using a white filler they used yellow. Uhhhh, the stone is stark white, why use yellow? the sink wholes were uneven, not straight, and chunked out. When I confront Juan about it and have him come to the house to see the destroyed countertop his defense was that it was too difficult to cut and they had to go buy a special diamond blade. Yeah, we discussed it before we agreed to proceed. If he couldn't do it I was supposed to be notified to take it elsewhere as it's super expensive!! In the end I had to cancel all my checks before he had a chance to cash them until he made the situation right by providing a new cabinet and countertop. He did neither and walked away leaving me with an ugly cabinet with different colors on it. He only got paid $200
