I called 10 contractors to get estimates. Most did not return my call, or promised to call me back but didn't. I thought Jay acted very professionally in calling me back, even though he was not going to give me an estimate. I will definitely call him first when we do a larger remodel.
Description of Work: I called JMC Builders and left a message asking for an estimate on a bathroom remodel. The owner, Jay, called me back the following week. He apologized for the delay, explaining he had been on vacation. He then told me, apologetically, that he was focusing on larger jobs. He recommended another contractor.

HE IS JUST A VERY WONDERFUL GUY TO BE AROUND. HE HAS A VERY GOOD DEMEANOR. HE DOES VERY GOOD WORK. IT IS GUARANTEED PRETTY MUCH FOR AS LONG AS EVERYTHING STAYS TOGETHER. IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG, HE WILL COME BACK AND FIX IT. IT WAS EXCELLENT WORK. HE'S AN EXCELLENT GUY. THERE ARE NO COMPLAINTS.
Description of Work: THEY DID INTERIOR PAINTING. THEY ALSO INSTALLED FLOORING, TILING, WALL REPAIR, AND PLUMBING.

I WOULD SAY THEY GET A'S ACROSS THE BOARD. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR US, AND HIS WORK WAS EXCELLENT. IT LOOKED BEAUTIFUL. DIFFERENT THINGS HAPPENED. HE WOULD COMPLETE THE JOB AND DO A LITTLE EXTRA. HE WOULD DO THINGS THAT WEREN'T ON THE ACTUAL AGREEMENT. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS GOOD QUALITY, LOOKED PERFECT, AND WAS STRUCTURALLY SOUND.
Description of Work: IT WAS THE PAINTING OF THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE, INCLUDING THE PORCH, AS WELL AS SOME PLUMBING WORK AND WALL REPAIR.
