Replaced my 3rd floor deck which was leaking (this deck is a portion of my roof). They removed the deck to the rafters, and replace with their waterproof system.
From the quote to the finish, everything went smooth. They were punctual every day, and completed on schedule. This job was intrusive in nature, and the crew managed not to disrupt the inside of our home. They was extremely professional, and did an excellent job.
I had this deck replaced approximately 8 years ago, and it didn’t last due to poor installation and lack of true waterproofing! Joe Guzman (the owner of Deck-Em) showed me the areas that were done incorrectly, and consequently the root cause of my current issues. I understand why the last contractor is out of business now.
I know a little about construction, and this time I was watching the repair work closely. I can tell you they have a quality approach, and the construction was top notch. This is one area of our home I won’t have to worry about again.
