Cofield Construction

We were incredibly nervous embarking on this project. We invested our life savings and some. We had to rent a place and had a budget that didn't allow for a lot of increased expenses. The bottom line is that this project went extremely well. Terry met with us weekly his crew was there daily on time. He kept us informed every step of the way. And the project was completed in 5 months. Some contractors informed us that this project could take a year. We went a little over budget but mostly due to change orders and unforeseen complications (more rotten wood than we expected). Even so our cost overruns were less that 10%. We were certified for occupancy about a month ago. We have been back home since. Everything works fine the craftsmanship is wonderful. We had a couple small problems, leaky faucet, steam shower not working right. We informed Terry and he was out the next day to correct the problems. We originally joined Angie's List to look for contractors Cofield construction wasn't on it, so I took a little bit of a chance. I checked his references and looked at his work. The theme that was expressed by all his references was "He's honest, he has integrity and he does good work." I found this to be the case. I have a friend that started a similar project several months before we did and they're still waiting to move home. I can truly say that we were very lucky to find such a qualified contractor. I can recommend Mr. Cofield without reservations.
