DONNA J.
Sep 2014
A tenant had a couch removed from her apartment. The 7-foot couch had 3 connected sections that were mechanized. It had to be dismantled and hauled to the dump. When I learned that the mover had a positive business relationship, of over 8 years, with a person I knew and respected and when I learned the skills that were needed in dismantling the couch, I knew that I wanted to start a business relationship with the mover (Anthonio Flake).
In August 2014, I phoned Antonio and we scheduled, for the following day, the moving of a California King mattress set from my garage to an upstairs (no elevator) location on the other side of Long Beach.
Antonio has owned his moving and hauling business since 2000. Prior to owning his business, for 12 years, he worked for major companies that required hauling and moving; additionally, he grew up in a family of movers. Antonio does small to major jobs: ?gutting everything? (in homes, businesses, mechanic shops, etc.); removing carpet, built in safes, etc; dismantling and hauling gazebos/Jacuzzis/ Koi ponds; etc.
Antonio?s outgoing personality, patience, resourcefulness and experience enables him to work with diverse clients: individuals, small businesses/offices, management companies, real estate agents, etc. His patience is an asset when dealing with the emotions involved in working with estate clean ups and with ?hoarders.
Antonio owns three trucks and various equipment that enables him to lift heavy items, demolish, and to clean and
remove debris/ damage caused by flooding. His charges are very reasonable and he gives ?senior discounts?. He services several communities in Los Angeles and Orange County.
