California Installs Glass & Mirror

Woke up one morning and discovered the glass in one of my French Doors was cracked.  Immediately called the company and to their credit, they sent someone out that day to take a look.  Determined that the glass could be replaced and would be installed in a few days. Installer came out the following week and could not remove  existing glass cleanly, which forced him to smash the glass causing an enormous mess.  After spending several hours doing this, he determined that the glass could not be replaced and that I would need a whole new door.   Claimed they couldn't have known this beforehand but subsequent contractor said that wasn't true. Company ordered a new door telling me it would take 10 days to arrive.  Not only did it take 3 weeks to get the door but when they came out to install, discovered it was the wrong size and it would take a couple more weeks to order another door. Throughout the entire process they barely returned my calls which was extremely frustrating.  Based upon all the aggravation they put me through, asked for a small discount on the door.  Said they would get back to me but never did.  At that point, I decided to hire another contractor to do the job.
