BOB & MIMMYS GARDENING

We had some extensive work done to the exterior of our house about a year ago, which left our existing landscaping literally destroyed. After searching for feedback and reviews on local landscapers, Bob and Mimmy were at the top of the list. My wife and I agreed that they were the best choice, so we scheduled an appointment for them to come out and take a look at what we wanted. Bob and Mimmy showed up at the designated time, surveyed our project, and gave us an itemized quote that was extremely detailed. After careful consideration, we agreed to the quote and a start date was agreed upon. Bob and Mimmy have an awesome process, where Mimmy (who is so knowledgeable), met us at a nursery and spent a couple of hours walking through the nursery, asking us questions about our tastes in plants, what colors we liked, and what we did not care for. Once Mimmy had a thorough understanding of what we liked, she proceeded to do a sun/shade evaluation of our yards, so as to pick the most appropriate plants for the different areas with different sun exposures. On the scheduled start date, Bob and Mimmy arrived on time and worked diligently clearing out the old landscaping. Once the clearing was complete, Bob (who is an irrigation specialist) plumbed our planters with an array of watering zones, all with different pressures and spraying patters.......from drips, to slow soakers, to full coverage spray patterns for the new sod. Bob is absolutely amazing when it comes to irrigation. All the watering was put on timers, as Bob is also water conscious and made sure the plants and sod got just enough water to thrive, but not so much to be wasteful. Once the irrigation was complete, Mimmy stepped in and worked her magic on the plant placement and planting. The planter beds and lawn areas were thoroughly prepared with new soil and fertilizer, in preparation for the planting. Mimmy has an unbelievable talent for placements and made sure the plants were exactly where we wanted them......as they told us, "you are the customer, and we are not finished until you are 100 percent satisfied". In all, this was by far the best experience we have ever had with someone doing work for us. The Yelp reviews are accurate, as Bob and Mimmy's Gardening is a service I highly recommend. I will never use anyone but them for my landscaping needs. One thing to mention that shows their dedication and love of what they do, is their follow up. Bob and Mimmy have made a couple of trips back to our house, just to check on things and to make sure there aren't any problems. Mimmy actually came back and was checking the water content of the soil to make sure it was perfect........who does that sort of thing these days? Bob and Mimmy do!!!
