 + 0 moreThe crew always arrived promptly and they were courteous and professional (which always helps). We had the pipes under 1/2 the house updated (the former owner went 1/2 way) and the sewer completely replaced, up to and including ripping up the street and (them) dealing with the city to get the permits and inspections, etc. They also put in our toilet (no problems - easy), new shower head / shower arm / drain (again, no problems), and kitchen sink faucet. If it's a toss-up between a competent but gruff company and one that treats the customer well and with respect, I'd go with the latter. Bob's does that, and we would use them again (although hopefully not soon!)
Description of Work: Yes - this was a Big job. We had what we thought was a smaller job until we learned that the pipe to the street was completely broken (advice to new homeowners - INSIST on a thorough sewer inspection, including adding a cleanout if need be, along with rotor rooter or water jetting with a re-inspection if there's any root blockage - BEFORE buying a home). Anyway, I saw the company's van when a neighbor was doing some work, and I looked them up and learned that Bob's is a family-run business. we dealt primarily with Bob's son Shane (we're not done - a few things remain), and he and the crew have been great. Very professional and explained everything and why they were doing it. They gave us a price break too (due to the size of the job, I'm guessing). Good work/values/integrity. We (my partner and I) couldn't ask for more.

 + -1 moreI have used him for a long time. He is a good communicator. He gets to the root of the problem. He is used to dealing with older homes like mine, where some of the younger plumbers may not be as familiar.
Description of Work: Bob's plumbing fixed my furnace.
