They did fantastic! They came in and did all of the rough-in in one day. They made a lot of holes in the walls, but they sent a patching crew and made it match existing the next day (as part of their price). We paid them to later come back and hook everything up. They got all needed permits and everything got signed off without a hitch. If only all contractors could be this easy to work with!

I was so pleased because we were scheduled on a Saturday. However they were able to come the Friday before which worked out better for us. The crew was on time and they were very polite. They asked me where I wanted the hose bids. And worked hard to not have to make a hole in my pantry. I was amazed that the crew was so large and they were done before 3pm. Richard had the inspector out Monday morning and his crew was here right after to close the walls they did a fantastic job.

If I could give an A+ rating To A1 Copper Repipe, I would! I contacted three companies for estimates and information. One company did not return my call. John from A1 Copper Repipe was an outstanding contact person, and went out of his way to make sure A1 did the job to my liking and satisfaction. The work crews (repiping and patching) were great, as well. At the end of each day, I did a walk-through with the person in charge. John checked in with me several times a day. He came to the house again the day after completion to make sure we were both satisfied with the work. I was very satisfied!! A1 Copper Repipe went out of their way to help me have better access and added quality to my water needs. Great communication, reasonable prices, courteous, hard workers and professional!I

The response and followup was great. The work went off exactly on schedule and very professionally. Good care was taken to protect the house and its contents. Over all this was a very good experience.

They did a great job and were very fast. Even though our house was built like a tank, they were able to get to all the piping through multiple layers of plaster and wire mesh, then repair the walls after inspector did the walkthrough. They had the best price also after contacting 4 other plumbers. It's been 8 months since they did the repipe, and everything still works great! They gave us all new fixtures, and we love the no-scald technology in them, the water temp does not ever change unexpectedly when another outlet is used somewhere in the house!

I dealt with John Sayeski, a very upbeat and positive person. He came to the house and walked through it with me, discussing what I wanted and describing how they would handle it. He gave us a packet of literature including manufacturers data pages for things like the tub.shower valves they provide. He claimed the job would be done start to finish in a single day and promised we would be happy with the results. He was right on the money. Initially I was a bit skeptical but I checked their BBB rating, CA contractors license status, and called four of the references on the list John provided. Three of those returned my call and all of them had only good things to say. At least one was a repeat customer and all were owners of apartment complexes, which apparently is A1's main focus. John said they do private residences on weekends (ours was on a Saturday). The result is as good as I had hoped. The job was completed in a day and we were impressed with how well that walls were patched and how well the crew behaved while here, and cleaned up after. There were no surprises or requests for money above what was in the contract. The crew leader even refused my offer of a tip when they were done. I would definitely hire them again, and definitely recommend them. As as note on the price, we got a quote from our regular plumber whom we have used over the last 20 years for things like stopped drains and so on. Their quote was $3000 higher without the new water heater, and they wanted two or three days to complete the job. Communication was excellent throughout and John has been scrupulous about following up after completion to make sure we were satisfied. My only beef was the backing plates they installed behind the shower control handle were very large oval ones, not the smaller round ones shown in their literature. John has since replaced them with the small round ones.

Of the six estimates I procured, only Sales Manager John Sayeski from A1 had experience as a plumber, and it was obvious from the beginning. He pointed out problems that others had overlooked, always having an alternative solution (some that saved us money). We did not want holes knocked in the exterior stucco of the second story, so he routed the lines through a tiny attic that other estimators didn't know even existed. We asked that the exterior piping through the carport be hidden from view, and he found a way to do that. We asked for Moen tub/shower valves instead of another brand in his first proposal. He made the substitution without complaint or additional charge. The A1 crews were focused, clean, and respectful. The crew supervisor was always available and carefully monitored their progress. As an apartment owner and a homeowner, I've had to engage a lot of contractors for a lot of different jobs. This is the first time I actually found the experience to be a real pleasure.
