Mcintosh Roofing just completed my house; these guys did a wonderful job and worked very diligently for 4 weeks on a very large tile roof, and we are pleased to give them a great recommendation. Their work is of very high quality; our house looks fabulous, and we are confident that we had a top-notch job done on our house. Randy, the owner, was very clear in explaining how each part of the job was done, what material choices were available, how each would function, and he gave us options at each step of the way. We had light tubes and skylights installed, and they all were very good at working very with us to follow our expectations, and at giving us suggestions for improvements. The work crew was very knowledgable, efficient and worked VERY hard each day; they were very good workers and very pleasant guys to boot. The crew was very detail-oriented and did a lot of work that actually improved the overall look of the roof over what we had at the outset. At the end of each day, they cleaned up and left the yard neat and tidy. We definitely would recommend them as a roofing contractor that is honest, fair, does quality work and has great work crews.

Randy McIntosh was the 3rd roofer I had met with and what made him stand out from the others was the fact that he seemed to understand my situation. He was quick to pick up on my apprehension about hiring a total stranger for work that I knew nothing about so he was kind enough to focus on my concerns by explaining every step of the way in terms I could understand. He took pictures so I could see what he was seeing on my roof and he explained what needed to be done in order to do the job right. Although his estimate was higher than the others I received, I went with Randy because his level of professionalism is what really mattered. His quality in service made it worth the price. From the beginning, he was very open and honest. To save me time and gas money, he was even kind enough to meet me at my office so I could sign paperwork and on another occasion pick out the shingles I wanted.
The work that the McIntosh team did was A-/B+ quality. I would like to have seen the fascia boards that were replaced fit together better, as there are some minor gaps and unevenness in places (particularly the backyard) that I thought was not to my liking, but I didn’t happen to notice until I was painting weeks later so it's not much of a problem. I was also slightly disappointed that the new wood was not primered after it was replaced. Randy made some good points as to why he could not buy it pre-painted or have his team do the painting, but I was not planning on painting for weeks due to my schedule so my disappointment, although not his fault, was in the fact that the wood would have to sit exposed for a few weeks in the beginning of winter. Lucky for me I was able to get to it before our first rain. I also noticed small amounts of tar dripping over my garage, but after a quick phone call to Randy someone was out right away to clean it up and I was very happy about that.
Overall, I have no regrets. I would definitely recommend McIntosh to anyone looking to hire someone for some roof work. If service is a priority to you, I urge you to give McIntosh a call to meet with Randy. He will take good care of you.

On schedule, within budget and absolutely all concerns of owner and tenants promptly addressed and solved. Excellent communication skills and high quality end product.
