LOMITA TRANSMISSION

I had two different shops look at the car but they seemed to busy and they didn't want to perform an in-depth assessment of the problem. I looked on Yelp and found Lomita Transmission and all of the feedback was excellent. From first glance the shop appears cluttered and there are to many cars, once you talk to Marco you begin to see why. They really love what they do and they take the time required to make sure every detail of the repair and the overall car is correct before it leaves the shop. Marco doesn't cut corners but points out ways to o the job more efficiently and cost effective. About two months after he repaired my transmission, the car began to act up and it seemed that t was the transmission so I took it back to them so they could take a look. Unfortunately for me it was the engine, it had spun a bearing and needed either replaced or rebuilt. Marco tore the engine down to assess the amount of work that needed to be done, and put a lot of labor into the evaluation.after much discussion and debate I decided to have Chevrolet replace the engine with a re-manufactured long block because of the 5year 100,000 mile warranty. Lomita Transmission had the car towed to the dealership and Marco asked me to bring it back after the work was completed so he could make sure Chey didn't screww something up. they did this all for NO CHARGE, let me repeat, NO CHARGE!! you can bet when I need any work on my cars Marco and Lomita Transmission will get the job.
