We are doing an extensive remodel of a home we purchased in El Dorado County a couple of years ago, and were interested in donating cabinetry and fixtures to Habitat for Humanity. Our contractor referred us to Kristin Williams of TheReUsePeople. Kristin contacted me by email, informed me of her fee and services, then visited the property and spent 2-3 hours doing inventory and coordinating with the demo team. She coordinated the appraiser to assess the value of the donation, contacted the El Dorado & Stockton Habitat ReStore operations, and arranged pickup of the materials. We rented a Uhaul to take the bulk of the donation to Stockton (too far for them to come to us).
