Derek was wonderful. He was very prompt to return messages and did a great job installing my cameras. There is no way I could have done it myself. He was patient with me when I tried to figure out where I wanted the cameras installed. He and his partner did the job in a very timely manner. I have and will continue to recommend him.

I have a house in Carmichael and a cabin in the foothills. Both are two story residences. I had bought two systems from Costco. It was hard to find a business that would install a system not sold by them let alone at a price that was fair. Derek came and gave an estimate at the Carmichael house. I described the job in the foothills, and he gave me a price for that. Both prices were very fair in relation to other estimates I had received.
Both job installs went very well. The installations were professional and neat. The exterior cables were placed to be minimally obvious, and they were well secured. Derek installed electrical outlets in the closets where the electronics were stored. At the cabin, an external cable run was required from the attic to the first floor. Derek made a trip to the hardware store, 20 miles away, to get conduit to protect the cable run from being cut.

I sent Derek an initial query via Angies List messaging system and he responded promptly. He also called to remind us of our appointment and when he was on his way, which I really appreciate.
With the exception of the antenna, Derek supplied all the necessary materials. He did an excellent job in mounting the antenna safely and securely on the chimney so that we have no holes in our new roof. He also ran and attached our cables up along the eaves, making it look much cleaner. He has a machine that lets him know the best direction for our antenna and now we have more channels and better reception than ever before. We wouldn't have been able to do that on our own. He definitely knows what he is doing and the fact that he is licensed and bonded is an important consideration for us. I was also grateful that he took his shoes off when he came into our house to set up our TVs. That was really considerate.
In sum, Derek is very professional, courteous, reliable and did an outstanding job for us. I highly recommend him and would definitely use his services again.

The complete job took 2-3 hours. He was fast and efficient. He even squeezed through my vaulted ceiling, which was a very small opening. He was called because another contractor did not complete the job and didn;t show up. Galaz came right out and accessed the situation and completed the job.

I found Galaz' serve to be excellent.
Derek replied to my original telephone message promptly even though he was on vacation.
As the day for service approached he confirmed the appointment.
He arrived on time, which was important to me, because I had taken time off work for the appointment.
The reason I called Galaz was that our only TV, which gets its signal from
an antenna I'd installed myself, did not reliably receive two of the 10
or so available broadcast channels. After discussing the situation Derek
and I agreed that it appeared the problem might be an inadequate
antenna, that might need to be replaced, poor antenna placement, or poor
antenna aim. In addition, we had purchased another TV for another
location and so wanted a second antenna connection installed in another
room.
Mr. Galaz had to do a good deal of experimenting and
walking around on the roof, but in the end, by using the new TV to test
the original antenna connection, he discovered that it was not the
antenna, but original TV that was unable to receive the problematic
channels.
The final result was we kept the original antenna
(though better aimed), Mr. Galaz ran the second line through the attic
as needed and connected it to the antenna as required, and left the
house clean and in good order.
Given the amount of time he spent on site and getting to our house, I thought the cost was quite reasonable.
I will enthusiastically recommend Galaz to others.

He arrived in a timely manner, let me know what he would do and got right to work. I appreciated his clean-cut look ( when someone has to spend time in and out of your bedroom closet, attic and house in general) you want to feel like you can trust them. He was very professional and I plan on hiring him again for other things.
