The Home Depot

Well, they sent someone up to measure the windows, not a contractor, but someone from Home Depot. The windows finally came, and they were the wrong size. The contractor that was going to install them said that he was familiar with work in this area and he said that he knew that they were the wrong size. So he did a quick measurement and put in the order. After several weeks, I contacted Home Depot, they informed me that the order was not placed and that they would do it now. She said that Home Depot would credit my bill with a reduction because of this problem. Eventually, the windows were installed, but there was no credit offered by Home Depot. This simple project took many months, and I sincerely doubt that I will use Home Depot again, for anything. The contractor that installed the windows was very professional and very competent, but the Home Depot organization was terrible. They compounded a bad situation instead of remedying it.

Because there is no parking there.

We spent around $20000. It was a total remodel with granite and cabinets. We had a lot done. The people were very attentive to the details that we wanted done. They wanted to make sure that they did those as we wanted so they paid attention to our needs.

I am very pleased with the flooring. I chose them because of price.

I had a floor put in by Home Depot, so I continued with them and had the kitchen done. They seem to be on time, and they seem to do good work.

We had problems communicating with Home Depot, itself: I was on hold 3 times for over 20 minutes, being passed from one extention to another.  There was poor communication between Home Depot and us and between Home and the people who would do the work.  All in all a very frustrating experience!

The experience was ok.  The environment is fine.

They installed new kitchen cupboards. They installed tile in the kitchen. I have rental homes & use Home Depot all the time to do fix-up jobs. They installed a Formica countertop. Home Depot sub-contracts the work done. They have also helped me in other remodeling projects.

They did move some big furniture, and then moved it back for me. I did have most of the furniture moved. I have used this company for about five years. The carpet was not stretched properly, and the contractors had to come back, and re-track the carpet. I did use the leftover carpet for a drop rug in the garage.

THE INSTALLER CAME TO MY HOUSE AT THE TIME THE APPOINTMENT WAS SET FOR. THEY INSTALLED THE DOOR WITH LITTLE MESS & CLEANED UP WHAT MESS THEY MADE. MY GARAGE DOOR LOOKS GREAT & WORKS EVEN BETTER.

THEY SHOWED UP AT MY HOME TO INSTALL MY DOOR AT THE TIME AND DAY THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE DOOR WAS NOT AN EASY INSTALLATION BUT THEY MADE SURE THE DOOR FIT AND THAT IT DID NOT LEAK AIR. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP AFTER THE INSTALLATION.

THE HOME DEPOT IS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH EMPLOYEES WORKING, THE ONE THAT HELPED ME WAS GREAT. SHE WAS VERY EXPERIENCED WITH CARPET AND KNEW EVERY ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS.

THE CONTRACTOR THEY SENT OUT WERE VERY HELPFUL. HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. HE WAS VERY CAREFUL AND PROFESSIONAL. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE NEW FANS.

HOME DEPOT WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB INSTALLING THE NEW DOORS. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO MARK UP THE CEILING. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE DONE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

THE CREW HOME DEPOT SENT OUT TO INSTALL THE CARPET WAS ON TIME AND FRIENDLY. THEY CAME READY TO DO THE JOB. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL. AND CLEANED UP WHEN THE JOB WAS DONE. I AM SATISFIED WITH THE WORK.

HOME DEPOT CAME OUT TWO DAYS AFTER WE CALLED TO MEASURE AND ORDER THE MATERIALS NEEDED TO DO THE JOB. THEY CAME BACK LESS THEN A WEEK LATER AND INSTALLED THE UNIT THE WAY WE WANTED IT. THEY WERE ON TIME, POLITE AND HELPFUL.
