went great, waited one day for capacitor came in with a screw driver removed the 70 capacitor replaced and thanked us, off he went. we would definitely hire Mr Cortez again. PS. called him three times he answered everytime, and if he was doing work said he would call back

The sweet man (racking my brain for his name!!!) came & figured out what was the problem with our furnace...it was making booming sounds & he saved us...Cortez was our 2nd opinion call...the first company that came out told us we needed a new heater...gave us a quote that was thousands more than we could afford...I was sooo appreciative for the honesty & quality work(: 

I am a property manager and I have used him off and on for many years and he's useless. For one, he doesn't return telephone calls and that's the main reason. As a property manager it doesn't do you a whole lot of good when they don't call you back. Secondly, we've had problems with the work that he does. I have been doing this for 35 years and we've used Cortez on and off for all of that time and I don't call him anymore. My assistant got so mad that she was threatening to quit if I kept using him. He was so frustrating. His rate wasn't unreasonable or we wouldn't have used him at all. I didn't have a problem with his prices, but it wasn't good quality. He showed up when we finally got him, but getting him was a real adventure. I don't think it's very professional not to call back.

Their price was reasonable. I thought they were on time. They provided a friendly service. We've used him many times.

I have used Rich for repairs for over 40 years. I also have used his son for A/C replacement of the original equipment that came with the current home built in 99. Rich is a class act in all repects. He answers all calls asap each and every time. His prices and quality of work have been outstanding every time I have used him. He is the only person in the Livermore/Pleasanton area that I use for repairs. I have lived here since 1966.

I purchased a home in July 2012 and in February felt the heat wasn't working well. I called Cortez and Sons and they were very responsive. They arrived on time and completed the inspection. They could have gotten more money by telling me I needed the inspection done yearly and they did not. I appreciated their honesty.

Except for somewhat slow response on estimate and spotty promptness on return of phone calls the job was completed nicely.

I had repairs done on my furnace in February. Another issue occurred in April and repairs were done again. In May, the furnace was not working again for another reason. I approved the third repair, but said I was hoping there would be no more problems and I was beginning to worry that the problems were being misdiagnosed. Mr. Cortez lost service on his cell phone at this point and never returned my three follow-up calls. He never made the third repair.

They were great! They work was on time and they did a great job.

WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK PERFORMED BY RICH CORTEZ. DURING THE PAST FIVE YEARS, HE HAS REPAIRED SEVERAL APPLIANCES FOR US. HE IS ALWAYS ABLE TO GET TO OUR HOUSE IN A TIMELY FASHION, AND I TRUST HIS OPINION.
