We installed it anyway. Then the technician ran out of glue for installing the rear-view mirror (yes, many mirrors are glued onto the windshield). Since this is supposed to be a 1-hour onsite service (they come to your home), I would have expected them to somehow resolve this issue (get some new glue)? Instead they came the next day. It worked out in the end, but clearly not the 1hr service I was expecting. In the meantime, the car was not really usable--you don't want to drive w/o rear-view mirror. I would have expected an offer to reduce the price for this glitch in service. No mention of that at all.
Final issue was getting a receipt from the technician for the service. He did not have one. I just paid via square, and all I have is something saying I paid $220, but no detail on the service. Should I have to somehow file a claim, it would be difficult to document what they did. Again, holding my fingers I will not have to do this, but that's not how you run a professional business.
So, all in all, they got the job done, but it was all bit shady and unprofessional. They have an SF number and we live in SF and we try to support local businesses if possible. But it seems this is an outfit out of Livermore. You can't tell from visiting their website.
I'm sure there are alternatives out there with better service.
