The provider came out and inspected the water heater and listened to my description of the problem (severely decreased water pressure and running out of hot water). A very through discussion of the services required to replace the water heater and restore our water pressure was given and memorialized with a written estimate. We decided to have the work done, and it was promptly scheduled for the following week. The provider came out with the new water heater, drained and removed the old water heater and installed the new water heater. The existing water heater was over 22 years old and for a new water heater to be installed, it needed to comply with the new county codes. As a result, the provider had to install all new piping, a new drip pan, new leads for the hot and cold water supply and secure the water heater with reinforced straps so it would stay in place. All of this work was done in a very professional manner and according to code. Additionally, the provider took away all of the old equipment and cleaned up our entire garage. The was completed in a day. Before leaving, the provider informed me his office would set up a time for the country inspector to come out and inspect the water heater to insure the installation was up to code. All of this work and follow-up was done in a very professional manner and efficiently. The city inspector came out very shortly after the installation and the inspection was passed with "flying colors." We have noticed a considerable change in the water pressure (e.g., it very strong and is no longer a small dribble), the water temperature is very hot without having to crank the dials on any of our sinks or showers and we no longer run out of hot water. We are very pleased with the results.

$160 is too much though for 5 minutes of work, using the "snake".
