He was always very punctual and works very clean, cleaning up every day, and making sure that we were never inconvenienced. He was a pleasure to have working in our home. I will certainly call him again for any remodeling projects around our home.
Always produces flawless results on every job done.
100% trustworthy. Real easy to work with.
Apparently in high demand and quite busy.
Again, there were aspects that Ken subcontracted out at reasonable prices, specifically the tile work and cutting the granite top...I knew all this up front. The guys he used also delivered the goods, very nice work.
Time in project was a little less than 2 weeks - Ken was juggling another project at the time, and his assistant was out, recovering from an operation. He explained all that up front - all OK, since I had 2 other functioning bathrooms.
The result - his work on this project was flawless, period.
High-end model home, show quality meant for more discerning customers.
No seams, gaps, half-baked compromise fixes.
No callbacks, just the same as last time....
During the final stages of the project, he replaced electrical switches, outlets and plates at absolutely no charge. Besides being financially invested in the project, he was becoming emotionally invested too, because of just how it was all turning out, and he knew there were just a few things stopping it from looking 100% perfect.
At the last minute I threw some new vanity lights on the counter and he put them up, no cost. He added upgraded door molding at a very very reasonable price. His paint quality on the wainscot, trim and walls was factory smooth, professional quality.
So this time around, I graded his pricing as above good - (almost) excellent value. I had to take into consideration he had to pay his tile/granite subs, he had additional material/labor on the rotted sub-floor, the run for electrical components (free) and reduced cost for molding/painting/installation..all this puts him at the $100/hr category.... Yeah, still a little high, but again, the work was flawless, no callbacks, nothing compromised.
Also same as last time, he was great to work with through the project, kept me apprised.
Honest businessman, does what he says he's going to do and delivers great quality.
Yes, I'm satisfied.
The room looks great. He chose good quality material that appears durable.
Ken normally quotes by each action needed in the sum of total requirements of the job. That's good in a way if you're working to a budget, you can opt in or out certain things. Price total was negotiated a few percentages off of quote, but not much.
Summary: I got exactly what I paid for: high quality work by an experienced, honest, timely contractor.
