Comcast Livermore

The DVR built into our Comcast cable box stopped working. We could not get an appointment with Comcast for about a week so my husband went to pick up a different box from the Livermore Comcast office. They only had the older boxes available. He was told we would be charged for two boxes, even though the second box was the broken one. He called and was able to have the charges for the second box reversed but he shouldn't have had to spend 30 minutes on that phone call...we never should have been charged for the second box in the first place. Comcast outsources the technicians that go to homes to set things up. Comcast said we had to make an appointment to have a new box set up (rather than the old temporary one they gave us in the Livermore office). Our appointment window was 2-4pm but the technician didn't show up until 8:45pm. He did a great job setting everything up and even fixed our spotty internet connection, but he was 4 hours late. Even though we had to have technician come because Comcast's box broke, they are charging us $35. We are working on having those charges reversed, but no luck yet.
