This was a few years ago. Scott repaired water damaged drywall left by the builder. It was amazing. He literally made the 6 feet of damage disappear! You can't tell there was any repair at all. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

Great! Scott gave me a quick quote from pictures, arrived a few weeks later on schedule. Once here, he recommended some additional prep work I needed to do to ensure high quality result, so he rescheduled me for several days later. He was honest, pleasant, informed me what he was doing and clean-up was great. Will definitely hire again if needed.

Scott did a fantastic job! Once we painted, you couldn't even tell the damage had ever been there, which is what we wanted! VERY pleased with the repair job! He was meticulous about keeping the area around the repair clean, taping above and around all the work. He didn't leave any mess! Plus, Scott was really an interesting guy. Fun to talk with. We would definitely hire him again!

Fantastic. I have hired Drywall Done Rite three times to come in and repair three major areas in my home. I have a unique imperfect smooth drywall texture throughout my home. The guy is OCD about his work. I don't know how he does it, but after painting over his drywall repair and texture. You'd never know a repair was ever done. Superb work. This guy is an artist at what he does.
Response from Drywall Done Rite
"Just to clarify, the $1,500 is a total from 3 separate repairs over the last year, and each was less than $500.00 I mention this because according to California License law, I can not contract for work valued at at $500 and up. Thank you [Member Name Removed] for the review, and should you ever require repair in the future, I hope you consider me at your service. Scott Day"

Scott did an excellent job putting in new drywall and blending it with the old drywall.  I would highly recommend him to others and would definitely use his services again if the need arises. Reasonable rates & great service.

Scott arrived on time, kept in touch, and was efficient in working the replacement drywall, plastering and texturing to match, in our garage.  We had a relatively small but highly visible area that needed to be replaced due to a prior leak from an exterior balcony over the garage.
The work is done and looks great!  Now we are ready for a painter!

Scott arrived on time. I showed him the problem areas. He applied material to re-texture those areas. The new material closely matches the surrounding texture. I would use Scott again for drywall repair.

Prior to the appointment he asked me send him pictures of the work I needed done so he could come prepared to do the work. Scott was on time to the appointment. He gave me an estimate on cost and how long the job would take. He completed the work within that time. Scott did a great job! I will definitely use his services for again for any drywall repairs I may need in the future. Thank you Scott for the quality work!

Prefect texture matching, plus looks even better than before the rain damage - straighter. He came prepared. Was very easy to work with. Excellent at explaining what was needed and how it would be done. Cleaned up completely. Fast and efficient. I felt I got what I paid for. I would definitely recommend Scott to others, and use him again in the future.

Scott repaired the drywall in the bathroom, where the kids had not been shutting the shower doors correctly, allowing water to come out the sides and run down the wall.  He also repaired the ceiling in the kitchen, where there had been a roof leak and the husband had not been able to get the texture right when trying to repair it.  Everything looked great when he finished.  In fact, we were so impressed that we invited him back for another job in the family room a couple of months later.  That job included a ceiling repair for $280.  He even helped us with the floor joists from the upper story, while he was in there, to eliminate a squeak.  Fantastic job once again!

This guy does all his own work for his company and is very good at his job. The price is high but you get what you pay
for. We cannot even see the difference between the old and the new patching/texturing.
I would recommend him for any patching in the future.
FYI: he is willing to negotiate but because how good of a job he does, do try to low ball him.

Scott responded promptly to my initial call and came out within a few days to give me an estimate of the repairs.  I was able to schedule a date for Scott to come back out to perform the work within a week after the roof leak was found and repaired by another contractor.  Scott was very professional and I felt totally comfortable with leaving a key under the mat for him to enter the house and perform the repairs while I was at work!  The work performed was exceptional, and all I needed to do was apply a coat of paint over the repaired areas.  Scott even provided instructions for me to prime only the area where he had retaped and to simply apply the final coat of paint on the areas that he had sealed with lacquer, which also included a water stained wall in the master bedroom!

Scott arrived as scheduled and completed the work as outlined. It turned out that the damage was less than I had anticipated including no mold. Scott sealed, re-taped, and textured the entire area.  The texturized walls blended so well with existing walls that I can't even tell where the repair was done. He was very professional and made sure everything was covered as he worked. I felt the price was reasonable for the work that was completed. Great guy!  I would definitely hire him again. Bonus:  my dog loved him!
