 + -1 moreHis work was well done and he was very willing to please the customer. I felt the railing was too high since I'm short and he came out immediately when I got home from work and lowered the height. He said once my husband got back from his trip he'd come out again and lower it if my husband wanted it lowered. My husband said it was fine and was impressed with the job that was done. My husband knows construction so this meant alot. Bow and Roy are good choices if you have some construction that needs to be done. They are both licensed.
Description of Work: I needed stairs built in the backyard from our upper level to the lower level, but I needed it down within 4 days as we were leaving on vacation. Bow's partner, Roy Anderson of California Carpentry & Construction, agreed to do the job on such short notice. He came by, looked at the job and agreed to do it for time and materials. He used nice quality redwood 4x4s, (3) treated stringers under the stairs, two redwood 2x4s for railing and purchased Trek boards for the actual steps as I requested, about $300 in material for the six steps with concrete and screws included. He came by Wednesday and cut into the land, dug for the posts and laid the cement and 4x4s, plus set in the 3 stringers. Next day, he finished with the Trek boards, kick plate and railing...about 14 hours of labor total.
