Never having used Angi's before, we were shocked to receive such an immediate response to our request for help in replacing some badly broken tiles in our kitchen. We listed the job on a Saturday night, got a call from John (JB Tile & Stone) on Sunday morning, and the following morning he was at our house to discuss what we needed done. Since we only had about a dozen replacement tiles (and they were no longer available if we needed more) we were understandably nervous but appreciated his honesty on the challenges of removing the broken ones without damaging the ones we needed to leave in place. Based on his obvious experience and the reviews we read from satisfied customers, we decided to go ahead with the project. Our confidence in his abilities was more than justified. The work took place over 3 mornings. He arrived early and did exactly what he said he was going to do each day, i.e. carefully removing the broken tiles and old adhesives, then setting the new ones in place and finally grouting the newly tiled areas. We could not be more pleased with the end result and consider ourselves lucky that John was the one who responded to our call for help.

Excellently!! John was able to come to the house to assess the project, timeline, and cost. He and his partner started right away due to a delay in another customer being able to get their product. Demo of current floor tile took a half-day. New floor tile was installed on day 2, and grout on day 3!! The cost was originally $100 higher than the previous estimate by another company. John compromised and gave a $50 discount, which I accepted. The two men worked as a team, were courteous, pleasant, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and I was very, very satisfied with the install results, time spent, and cleanup! I would call upon JB Tile and Stone, in Lemon Grove, in the future.

Everything went smoothly. Approximately 200 square feet of tile was laid and grouted over 3 mornings and looks great.

Estimating and scheduling was extremely responsive. Project was started and completed on time. Quality of work was great. Overall, it was very pleasant experience.

We were totally pleased with John’s work and expertise. During our home remodel we took two bathrooms back to stud walls and reconfigured the showers and bath. Our description of John’s work in setting the tile is nothing short of artistry! John also laid ceramic floor tiles throughout the house. He was neat and efficient, and we could not be more pleased with the final product.

This was a larger flooring project that went ad smooth as possible John is very easy to work worth with. The job was finished on time and exceeded my expectations. I cannot recomend him enough

We needed a glass tile back splash added to our new counter top. We contacted J B Tile & Stone and asked for an estimate. John Brouillette, the owner, promptly arrived at the appointed time and did a careful and extensive review of our needs and the tile required. We made an appointment for the work to be done and he arrived precisely on time and carefully placed drop cloths and masked off counter areas to protect from potential damage. John again engaged us to offer alternative tile placement to ensure we understood our options before beginning to tile. He was meticulous and careful in his work and maintained a great attitude that made us feel at ease and confident in his skill. At all times he was considerate and focused on his work. When he finished the tile installation he cleaned up thoroughly and scheduled for the grout application. Again he arrived precisely on time and got right to work, proceeding carefully to make sure the grout application was perfect.
