Overall it was a lousy experience. It started out well in September 27,2019 when I met with Jason at my home and told him I wanted a custom lift top coffee table , an end table to be raised 1 1/2 inches, a little drawer made for a desk. He told me on that date that the coffee table would be $1000 and wanted $500 down payment for the job. I gave him $500. Jason took the end table with him and I offered him an armoire that I had no longer any use for. Then Jason came back and took the armoire. Then in October I got an invoice telling me the following prices: desk drawer $200 (which is over priced in my opinion), coffee table $1000, end table raised $75, delivery $50. In November he came and showed me some stain samples and said the end table was finished (but didn't bring it ). This was the last I saw him. I emailed him many times and his wife emailed me on Dec. 6, 2019 telling me that Jason had the table legs at the powder coaters and would get back to me. Never did. I emailed in Jan. 2020 and was told he was out of town. Since then every month I've emailed and called numerous times and never got any response. Finally frustration , on June 30, 2020 I got in my car and went to the business address on the invoice and was told through a closed door that Jason wasn't there. The man I talked to said he was Jason's brother, and he would have him call me that evening. Again I never heard from him and that is when I found this early email number for Angie's List and sent you an email. I left messages (in March and April ) saying lets forget about the coffee table and give me back my end table. I also told Jason I didn't want the drawer any more - it had been too long and I was getting rid of the desk. I'm so frustrated about this whole thing.
