This company had installed the floor 17 years ago.  Over time the floor had become scratched and also yellowed.  In some areas of high traffic there was obvious wear.  The workers arrived promptly in the early AM each day.  They sealed the areas completely and sanded by both machine and by hand.  They filled in between boards that had some minor water damage.  The project went perfectly.  They left the work area totally clean each day.  Dutko was a bit higher in price than another estimate, but no one could have done a better job.

This company has always been the gold standard of floor refinishers. I needed to put in a new floor and got several quotes. The Dutko quote, although not the highest I received, was a lot of money and I had another quote from a company who I thought could do the job so I gave the job to them. This was a mistake. This kind of work requires a lot of care and expertise and to get the quality, you have to pay for it. The other firm did not fail completely , but they made many mistakes and proved unable to provide the final finishing of the job. I went back to Dutko and while they could have told me to punt, they agreed to complete the job. They did excellent work, quickly efficiently and cleanly. I should have used them in the first place and will certainly look nowhere else in the future. They are, without doubt, the best at what they do.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY WERE ABLE TO BLEND THE NEW AND EXISTING FLOOR. THEY WERE AVAILABLE TO MEET OUR SCHEDULE. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL. THEY ACCOMMODATED OUR AVAILABILITY TO DO THE REFINISHING WHEN WE WERE GOING TO BE OUT OF TOWN SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO GO TO A HOTEL JUST FOR THIS PROCESS.
