He is a local guy and they did a good job. This was my first time using this company. I liked that even though they cost roughly $1,000 more it was worth it because I know I got a quality job. I have had no issues since the job was done. They gave me a 5 year warranty in case there are any issues.

Myles protected everything when they painted and cleaned up after themselves to the point that if it wasn't for the beautiful paint job you have never known they were here. They even fixed the oops sloppiness by the previous painter, me.

The paint we had on the house before was pathetic. Whoever painted the house did little or no prep first. William L. Myles and Sons crew scraped all the old paint off the house that was not stuck to the wood and then they sealed the entire house with paintable caulking. The prep and paint job they did on our home was the most impressive work I have ever seen by any contractor. When Bill came to my house and told me what his crew would do I figured a lot of what he was telling me was an exaggeration. But, they did exactly what he told me, and some. We purchased our house in 2003 and soon after we moved in the painted started to peel off little by little every year. I hated this house, but thanks to Bill and his crew I live in a house that I love coming home to. .

Mr Myles responded promptly to our request for a bid and presented us with necessary business info, insurance verifications, pictures of previous jobs and names and phone numbers for references. My Myles has been a painting contractor for over 30 years and has a great feel for what looks best without trying to coerce.Once we had chosen a color, Mr Myles promptly provided us with a large color sample and told us to take our time deciding. Once we decided, his office stayed in contact with us as to an estimated start date for our job. The crew arrived on time and were very professional yet friendly. They spent most of the week prepping the areas that were to be painted. It had been almost 10 years since the last paint job and it was badly peeling at the west end of the house. After they powerwashed the stucco, it looked like a brand new house! Hard to believe that much dirt was embedded in that stucco! They kept us informed of their progress and were ready to answer questions or concerns we had. They kept their work area neat and cleaned up before leaving each day. Myles was not the least expensive bid we received, but he was the only one with an UNCONDITIONAL 5 YEAR GUARANTY! I do believe you get what you pay for.

Now, they're painting the inside. I cannot remember the amount they charged us before, but it was reasonable and they did such a good job. That's why we're having them to do the inside. They were very much prepared before they painted the outside. They prepped it really well, which not everybody does, and that's why I think their outside paint lasted for so long now. We're using them again actually. They're pricey, but we went with them because we knew what their work was.

Because they were very busy they couldn't get to the job as soon as I'd wished. They did do a very good job- very high quality.

I got 3 bids. Myles was the highest (by a little), but his description of the prep work that he does was VERY impressive. Also, he was the only one of the 3 willing to fix the rotted decking as part of the contract. Two of his painters began 1 day later than originally planned, but devoted their full attention to the work for the next 2 weeks. All work was done very carefully, with full cleanup each afternoon before they left. The painters were very proud of their skills, and seemed pleased with my hanging around and watching. The end result was OUTSTANDING! And you can't beat a 5 year guarantee.

Bill came out to give us an estimate that included the paint and the labor, helped us pick out colors for the rooms. His crew arrived right on time, moved the furniture to the center of the room, covered it all with heavy plastic and covered floors and doorways to non-painted areas, removed switch and plug plates, and door hardware. They cleaned and sanded the walls and put up a primer coat on the ceilings and walls. The second day, they re-textured the walls and ceilings where the texture had been damaged over the years. They completed the finish color in the kitchen and living room and dining room ceilings. The crew returned the third day to do the remaining finish color and clean up. We couldn't be happier with the results. Bill and his entire crew are personable and professional. We'll definitely call on them again for future paint jobs.

The service was very professional from the first estimate to the finish. They arrived promptly and cleaned up when finished for the day. The painters told me when they needed to block off an area and for how long. We had a problem with paint dust settling on all of our belongings after painting. He came over personally to check on the problem and sent over a cleaning lady to take care of it. He told us if we had any other problems, he would be happy to come back and take care of them. I was happy with the service and would use them again.
