"I have read this member's response, it is fairly accurate but missing a few details. She called me for an estimate, I arrived at her home and inspected her roof. I gave her an estimate for the repair. I told her that we were scheduled out about two months, but that I would make all attempts to get to her within two to three weeks, please keep in mind we have a full schedule of work that was waiting before shecalled us. Sometimes we may finish a larger job early which frees us up to complete small repairs in the afternoon. Her job was about a 2 hour repair. She signed the contract that was presented to her. Approximately three weeks later I called her to schedule within the next two days, I wasn't able to reach her and left a voice mail. I didn't hear back from her until the afternoon of the following day. If she would have called me within the day I left the message, I'm sure her repair could have been scheduled. When she returned my call she informed me that she could not do it that week. I told her I would call her and reschedule she acknowledged. The member then then contacted our office and told our office manager that she needed a 2 day notice in order to schedule. I don't know why she didn't convey that to me when we talked previously. That's fine, but it limits my availability to serve her. As previously stated, we had a full schedule out two months, we try to accommodate all of our customers but they also need to be a little flexible with us as well. She called again when I was out of town, I moved some other projects around to schedule her, within the 2 day notice she required, my office manager left a message for her. Carol informed us she was hiring someone else. The main difficulty we were having was trying to connect with her. She only gave us one number to reach her that being her home number. The majority of our customers that have small repairs make themselves available with alternate ways of reaching them so that we are able to connect in a more efficient time frame. This job could have been completed if she would have been more responsive to us, not waiting more than 24 hours to get back to us. In addition, this repair could have been completed without her present we did not need access to the interior of her garage we have many customers that have allowed us to complete repairs without their presence. I do think that was unfair in speculating that if I did her job and there was a problem later that she would "never get me to come back to fix it". I am sorry we didn't work out for her, we have served the Antelope Valley for many years, and have one of the best reputations in this area."
