the car, but manager Deb promised they would either fix the car completely to my satisfaction or replace it within 30 days. As my daughter was flying in from Illinois the next day, I needed a car right away. I agreed to take the car only if they would replace or repair the car if there were issues. The brakes squeaked and tires were bald, but Deb gave me her word they would be corrected on the car, so I took it. When I left the lot it was sunset, and in the 1 1/2 hours to drive home, I noticed the lights were really dim, almost useless. Then, on the 101 freeway, in the fast lane, the engine made a loud thumping noise and the car died. The 'check engine' light lit up, and stayed on permanently from that point on. When I returned the car to fix the myriad of problems, the owner, Frank Blair said he would not honor Deb's promise and refused to replace or repair the brakes, tires, bad lights, acceleration problems, speedometer, gas gauge, expired registration, razor blades under the seat, and on and on. I insisted he behave in an honorable manner, and after a verbal disagreement, I took the car TWICE to his repair shop to get fixed. They could not fix the lights, nor the 'check engine' problem, and then Blair said they were 'MY problem and he did not care, as he had my down.' I still properly made my payment to the lienholder, but Blair, under the guise of picking up the car to be repaired, (it no longer would even start) then repossessed the car. I have written proof from the company I DID MAKE THE PAYMENT, but Blair would not repair, replace or return the car, stating it was too costly to fix, and I was on my own. DO NOT TRUST THESE CROOKS! They lied and I have plenty of witnesses to confirm that, and will sue them in Small Claims. For now, I have moved out of state, so that will have to wait. I have plenty of sworn witness statements and will furnish them to anyone who wishes to view any or all of those statements. So not only did they sell me a 'LEMON', but they stole my $1,500.00, and trashed my credit. Every word here is true. You may call me @ 323 351-6761 for written proof.
