Simply Floors

DO NOT HIRE!! Looking for new contractor to clean up his mess.

I called Danny to replace my laminate flooring. He called me back right away and showed up at my house for the estimate. He told me he could get the job done in one day. So I told him that when his next available time was, I would take it. He said he could do the flooring two weeks from that day. It landed on Labor day so we rescheduled it for Tuesday. Even though Danny had two weeks to get the flooring he went the same day the job was due to pick it up. He emailed me two hours before he was supposed to show up at my house, saying that they were out of my flooring and that they wouldn't have it in for twelve more days. I called him and left a message and he never called back. I wouldn't use him....he's extremely unreliable and unprofessional.

This was the best experience we've had with a contractor in the ten years we've owned our home. Danny communicated with us all through the 4 1/2 day project, helped us make decisions about materials, offered creative ideas (like subway tile pattern!), and made us feel we were in good hands from start to finish. He and his crew worked efficiently and cleaned up every evening, keeping our living space comfortable and accessible. He even dust mopped first thing in the morning, which shows a real pride in the work. He checked with us at the end and beginning of each day to see if we had any problems, making it easy to correct any issues as they arose. When we found a little defect the in material in the middle of one of the laid floors, he replaced the board without the slightest hint that it was a problem for him. It was like we were all working together to make this the best rennovation. It seems that Danny Aguilar possesses a rare combination of an excellent craftsman and a good businessman. I'd be proud to recommend him and his crew to anyone.
