Take your business elsewhere. Our fifth home purchase, worst to date. 1) Received our Escrow documents a week before close--they blamed our realtor for not getting them to us sooner. We went to the Escrow office and signed immediately. 2) Escrow officer was repeatedly condescending, and actually scoffed when we told her we wanted to close a week later, which had been our plan for more than a month, and all parties had already agreed to. 2) She went on vacation the next day without handing our case off to someone. 3) The receptionist had to process our closing documents while the officer was on vacation. Our loan officer at a major national bank stated this was the most unresponsive company they had ever worked with. This company caused extensive extra work for our bank due to their incompetence (escrow officer complained that loan documents were sent to receptionist and they couldn't find them, even though 2 days previous the receptionist was the only one working on the documents.) 4) When the escrow officer returned from vacation, on the day we need to finalize documents, she delayed the final processing of our loan docs for several hours doing banking, and did not provide the final down payment amount and wire information until late in the afternoon, of course well after the Fed was closed (delayed our recording a day). Another person in the office scolded us and said we couldn't close the next day because we didn't get the money to them. 5) This company's lack of professionalism caused a 72 hour delay to getting our house, $225 in extra lodging costs, and significant pain caused by having to move utility appointments and appliance deliveries multiple times.
