Matthew was nice and polite but we had several issues. He arrived 30 minutes early to prearranged viewing of property for sale with realtor. The agreed upon price by phone was 150.00 beforehand. He completed the view of the property and called me. He said the home was at a good price and just needed cosmetic repairs but realtor found multiple leaks in basement ceiling, some fresh with black mold! Also repeadly asked for monthly pricing to caretake property until we relocate there but he couldn’t/wouldn’t give me those details. I had to also ask for an invoice and when I got that he tried to charge me 200.00 not the 150.00 quoted by phone.

I met with Sherrie the Service Adviser at Attwood with a list of work that I needed for my car including a list of recent work and concerns. While at Starbucks, her tech went down my list and charged me $45.00. The Auto service I had been going to charged me $189.12 for 2 hours labor to find an oil leak. Prior auto service attempts to replace oil pan plug failed, was advised I would need new oil pan $160.. plus labor $347.00 aprox. to repair leak. The Attwood tech asked me to let him give it a try. He placed plug saving me approx $400.00. I would highly recommend Attwood especially to women. Sherrie is extremely knowledge, will explain the job to you, answer your questions and you will not walk away with that gut fear of "getting work done on your car". I have been there for service twice and walked away knowing I got good service at a good price.

They are not the cheapest but they are extremely accurate in the diagnosis of the problem. They will do whatever it takes to actually fix the problem. If you go ahead and fix it and you are having an issue, you can bring it back to them and they will, at no charge, fix it. If they have to tear it open again, they will tear it open again at no extra fee. They don't try to sell you anything you don't need or any service that you don't need. I've been using them for the past 10 years and I've been extremely pleased with them.

They are always welcoming and friendly. You can drop your car off and go about your business or sit and wait. They have done many services for me and I am always impressed by their professionalism. Two years ago my battery was about to die and had about a 45 min lunch to get across town, see if they could stop everything and put a new battery in. I was out in time to pick up something to eat on the way back to work.

Pricey but excellent work and prompt

Attwood and Sons is the best automotive service company I have ver encountered! I will never use another, again. They have worked on our vehicles for the last several years from oil changes to full service needs. They schedule us quick and finish the job quick. When we have encountered mystery issues they have worked hard to diagnose the problem once and correctly saving us time and money. Until we started using Atwood I would beg my husband to handle all the vehicle issues because I was never sure I was getting the "honest" treatment. At Atwood I feel secure and confident to accept their advise. In addition, there is no high pressure sales.
