I reached Mr C at 4:30 PM on Saturday. He was at our home within 30 minutes, made a temporary adjustment so that the freezer became functional, then came back on Monday to replace the defective sensor. He was both professional, efficient, and reasonable.

Tech came to home and immediately determined which line was damaged and replaced the entire line throughout the appliance. He was very courteous and experienced in repairing my refrigerator model in an expeditious manner. He also found time in his busy schedule to visit the same day I contacted him. I would highly recommend him to family and friends with appliance issues. Great job!

Tried Angie's List (my first time) to get refrigerator repaired (It completely stopped cooling). Fortunately we had access to an old refrigerator in which to move all the contents before they spoiled or thawed. One of the choices for this repair had a "coupon special" and seemed local enough. I paid the introductory '$45 LARGE APPLIANCE REPAIR' after reading the details very carefully, as I strongly suspected that it was the compressor that had stopped (broken) due to the preliminary noises and then electrical clicking "on and off".
That was mid-afternoon on a Wednesday. I received a response early that evening and I submitted the details of the problem along with the Manufacturer and Model # of the refrigerator later that night. Call from repairman came next morning to set up time on Thursday. Un C was punctual in the time frame requested, did his diagnostic confirming what I had already suspected, presented me with an estimate and two options: to install either a new compressor or a used one along with the total costs.
When I asked what the time frame would be for getting the (major) part, to my surprise he had both--my choice--and was ready to go to work! I opted for the new compressor and work was completed within 3 hours. I have waited 24 hours as requested to confirm proper temperature levels in refrigerator and freezer, but they were both at correct temperature when we went to bed last night.
Completely satisfied: standard 1-yr warranty, prompt service, fair parts price (I did call an appliance parts store the day before and price the compressor), and reasonable labor cost (quite a lot of work and special equipment necessary).

My Kenmore dryer stopped working, so I called Un C to take a look. The technician came to check it out and found the problem was with a malfunctioning igniter. He explained the problem and told me what it?s going to cost me. He put in a new igniter part and got my dryer working perfectly. Also did a vent cleaning to make sure the air goes through unhindered by the dust that?s collected over the years free of charge.

I had a problem where my freezer was working fine, but my refrigerator wouldn?t get cold. A technician came out the same day and ran some diagnostic tests. After a few minutes, he told me that the defrost thermostat is defective and needs to be replaced. He gave me the cost of the repair and replaced the malfunctioning part for a new one. He even cleaned the ice on coils at the back of the freezer for free. I?m satisfied with the fast service.
