 + -1 moreA quick phone call to the city buiilding department on Monday revealed that Bob had bold-faced lied. Of course he knew that working on Sunday violated the city ordinance in our city and in every city. It would have been mean spirited to ask that his crew desist from working on Sunday. Safeway contractor, Bob, violated city code and lied about it.
Description of Work: Safeway roofing company showed up at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27 to tear out and begin construction on the new roof of our neighbor. When the foreman was questioned regarding the legality of working on Sunday he referred to the contractor, Bob Cirvello (sp?) who pleasantly insisted he did not know the code for working on Sunday in Seal Beach.
