Mr Miniblind

It went great!
I had many estimates and was surprised by how much the price varied from one to the next based on the same product.
A friend of mine referred me to Mr.Miniblind when I told her about my experience, so I gave them a call. Because I provided rough measurements, they were able to quote me a ballpark figure, which was a little less than the average price of previous bids.
Within the week, Dave came out, measured all my windows, showed me what different choices I had based on what I wanted, and gave me the final price which was very close to the price estimated over the phone.
I had a really good feeling with Mr.Miniblind after so many estimates over the phone and in my home, so I hired them right then and there.
Because I wanted something a little different than standard blinds, I was told it would take 5-6 weeks at the factory.
During the wait, I called several times just to see if maybe the shutters were finished early. No one was annoyed with my requests and I was treated very pleasantly while Mr.Miniblind checked with the factory each time.
Once the shutters were finished and delivered to the company, they came out after hours one evening to install them after I mentioned I had company coming that weekend and really wanted them installed before my guests arrived.
The guys who installed them were polite, pleasant, quick, efficient, and neat.
They also took some extra time to talk to me about upkeep and cleaning since I've never had shutters before.
I was so pleased with Mr.Miniblind. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in need of shutters or blinds and hire them again for any window cover needs I may have in the future.

They were very professional and was happy with the install.  There is a problem with the screen at this point but they are coming out to make the proper adjustments.  The screen I had installed in called a Clearview retractable invisible screen and it's really cool.

The salesman was prompt in making his home visit for estimate (free) and gave a fair presentation of the products he offered. However the man who measured (and finally installed) gave us better ideas of how to choose what we wanted and what would work best on our windows. The installation itself was excellent, with the installer prompt, neat, and careful, and even more helpful and honest than the original salesman. He gave us some ideas that the salesman didn't cover. We are more than pleased with the results.

I was very happy with both the sales staff and the installer. Estimates and time promised were right on. The installer, Scotty, has come back several times when I've called. Once there was a problem (which turned out to be my fault and didn't charge me) and another time when a set of the blinds needed to be moved to another window.

The salesman was great, but after he took the order he never returned my calls (through receptionist). They promised a date but that date came and went with no call. Much of the problem is with Avalon and I'll be posting a report on them also. Then, just before installation Mr Mini blinds was supposed to send someone out to remove the existing blinds, but they didn't. They said Avalon would do it but when the Avalon installers came out, they knew nothing about it. I called once again but have never gotten a call back. I would not recommend based on this.

THEY'RE ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY AND CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN OURSELVES. THEY WERE RECOMMENDED TO US. THERE ARE AT LEAST TWO VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS OUT THERE.
