(As an example, it was necessary to tile around a tall, narrow window. The tile was going to stick out into the room beyond the window molding, which would not have been right. So, he pointed this out and we agreed I would go get new, thicker moulding and he would install it. It took him three hours to make compound mitre cuts and install it and he didn't charge anything to do it. He wanted the job to be right!)
