ChemDry OF San Diego

This review is more about the Chem Dry process than on the actual company who did the work. Supposedly this process uses a carbonating cleaning solution that only uses a small amount of moisture. I had two bedrooms cleaned. One room came out pretty well but is a rarely used guest bedroom. The other bedroom is the master bedroom and it had a traffic area that required the cleaning. After the cleaning, the master bedroom does not look like anything was done. Being fair to the workmen, they warned me wool carpets, which are very dense, are difficult to clean but they would try their best. Seeing that I was unhappy with the results, they offered to return in a couple of days and re-clean; however, warned they did not believe the carpet would turn out any better. OK, they spent 23 min's. cleaning both rooms and made this declaration. Now my husband and I moved all the furniture out of these rooms and I am not about to live like this for a couple of days. So gave them their check and said goodbye. I have had carpets steam cleaned in the past and have been very happy with the results. However, this time decided to try this process, especially due to the short drying time. WRONG! I will go back to the old way, even though it takes awhile to dry.
