SOLO TERMITE & PEST CONTROL

About a year ago I suspected our house had termites in the attics, so after reviewing a number of companies we had two come to inspect and bid. We chose Solo because they did a more thorough inspection and the bids were comparable. The treatment was with a non-toxic liquid that was sprayed in the attics and we've had no evidence of termites ever since even though they swarm in our area quite regularly. Recently we had the annual inspection. As last time, the technician was on-time, courteous, and did his work diligently. We are quite pleased with Solo.

We have been using Solo for a number of years and are very happy with them. We have an ongoing inspection service (yearly). They show up on time, do a thorough inspection, provide good quotes and then complete the job well. We have been VERY satisfied with their service. Technicians have been pleasant, clean and knowledgeable.

After previously having work done to spot treat termites by Solo Termite, we had them back for an annual review.  There was some new termite activity, which they found and treated.  They have provided professional, competent and friendly service.  I feel that they have been honest with their assessments and helpful with choosing the right option for dealing with termites.   Last time, when we had more substantial work done, I felt that their prices were competitive among other quotes.  I would definitely do business with them again and recommend them.

Jeff Costa came out, shortly after we contacted them, to inspect and give us an estimate of the cost and work to be done. The cost for the fumigation ($1,487) was quite low compared to other companies and they were able to do it right away. They provided all the info needed to go through this process, contacted the gas co. to shut off the gas and answered our many questions. Michelle (office) was very helpful and patient with us. Mike and his crew did a super job of tenting the house and working around all of our plants so that we didn't lose any. Everything went well and nothing was harmed, except the termites. They did the wood repairs and paint touch-ups the day after the tent came down.  Since the repairs turned out to be less than anticipated, the estimated cost was reduced accordingly. In addition, their annual cost to inspect and treat is lower than others. We would definitely recommend them for their workmanship, efficiency, promptness, availability, price and going the extra mile to do a good job.

Not well, we continued with ants and eventually just gave up on them.

Everything went like clockwork. Communications with the company were very good and always prompt. the technician came one week prior and went over everything in detail. The tenting crew called the day before to give their arrival time and showed up about 30 minutes early. We were back in the house after two and a half days on schedule.
One nice extra thing the tenting crew did was to re-install two wood gates that I had removed and placed next to the house so that they would also be fumigated.
I have already recommended Solo to two other people.

My experience with them was all positive. They came back for to retreat it and didn't complain or nothing like that. I'll probably use them in the future. They said they were going to be there and were punctual and on time. They did what they promised and the prices were fair. They have a good respect for the homeowner and showed up when they promised to be there.

He checked out the house very thoroughly and did a good job. We've used Solo Termite and Pest Control in two houses we've owned in two years since we've been out here and they've done various things that have to do with termites and have always been very good and professional. Our realtor recommended them when we bought our first house. Steve, the owner, is very nice. The guy who does the fumigation, I believe he's their head guy, is very good, very personable and as nice as you can be. They don't do the actual fumigation, they sub it out, but when our neighbors had a problem with the tear gas Solo came over here, met with our neighbors and explained everything and then called them on the phone to follow up and make sure that there weren't any problems. Which they didn't have to do. So, I would recommend them to people. They're very nice, they're courteous and I think they're fairly priced. I've never had a problem with anything they've done.

I contacted Solo Termite and scheduled a consultation with Jay. He was right on time. Loved it. Time is extremely valuable to me, so this was a big deal.
Jay was very professional yet very friendly. After checking the attic and around the house everywhere he left saying that he will send me a report with an estimate of costs. His email was in my inbox a few hours later.
We scheduled Andres to perform the treatment on September 25th. Andres was as punctual as Jay, and he got to work right away treating the areas and identifying more areas to be treated. He was very informative, very professional, and polite.
He contacted the owner of the company, and Steve (owner) showed up the next day going over everything, and confirming Andres' observation. We scheduled another treatment for September 28th. They treated a few more areas, removed the window frames, replace the old wood with new ones, and painted the areas.
I wasn't charged for the extra treatment, but was naturally charged for the labor and the product they had purchased.
They did a fantastic job, and explained what they were doing throughout the whole process.
I have only one suggestion to both Solo Termite and any home owner who will use their services. If you have any painting involved, make sure you cover the floor with plastic or something, so you don't end up having paint on your floors.
My over all experience with Steve and his team was great, and will certainly use them again in the future, and only wish they did other jobs too.

We got a senior discount. We found small bed bugs around the house. We called other companies and got answering machines. We called Solo, and spoke with a live human being. We were connected to a man who came out that same day. He assured us that the bugs weren't actually bed bugs, and they were coming from outside. He did a treatment the same day. He was very nice and personable, and we haven't had issues since.

We've used them for years. We have a service contract with them, they do an inspection, if it needs to be treated, they treat it. When we bought this house, we had subterranean termites, we had to pay for it, and it is not included in that price. But, it is an annual fee we pay every year to guarantee they don't come back. If they find them, it is a separate issue. I haven't compared prices.

3 houses in the neighborhood all had subterranean termites at the same time. I had called out another company to give me a price to get rid of the termites. Solo was less expensive and actually told me that I could go with a local treatment. They only had a 1 year warranty as opposed to the other so I asked them to match it and they did. The guy came out within a day or two (i can't quite remember), but it was prompt and the soonest I could do it. I actually had to leave the guy at my house to go do something. He called me when he left my house, locked the garage door. When I came home everything was fine, door locked and he did a great job. I could barely tell where the holes were drilled in the concrete around my house.

JEFF ARRIVES AS PROMISED. HE IS COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. CLIMBS UP IN GARAGE RAFTERS TO CHECK AREA WE QUESTIONED. HE DETERMINED THERE WAS LIVE TERMITE ACTIVITY. HE TREATED THE BEAMS. ADVISED US TO CALL AND SCHEDULE OUR ANNUAL INSPECTION THE END OF JUNE.
