LA Carpet

Horrible salwsman Sam, at Laguna Hills location. Installed messed up on the install where we were promised NO SEEMS. Then they refused to take payment when the check was written out and resented to them. So we just signed the invoice. We were still due two rugs from the left over carpet. A 54" and 30" circle rugs. We then withheld $1000 from the $4400 balance due. This carpet is $12 sq foot. Expensive carpet. Rugs were made incorrectly at 49" round. Sam refused to make this correct. He said the file was closed and nothing he could do. Said call customer service. Very unprofessional and breach of contract and fraud not to mention the harrassment when a supervisor called and yelled at my mother for not giving a check to the installers. NO ONE will yell at my mother when you have incompetent people working for you. A bunch of Mexicans that barely spoke English and Sam, a corrupt Middle Easterner who thinks doing business this way is normal. He said this is the way we do business. Then he said if you don't like it, sue us. Well unless LA Carpet makes this right, that's exactly what I'll be doing this week. The contract clearly shows 54" and 30" round rugs. We didn't get that. They have our money and kicked myself out of the store when I went down to confront them. Sam even threaten to call the police on me. DO NOT do business with this store or LA carpet. I will escalating this to their corporate offices as well. Scammers and rude people. People like this that gives the industry as bad name. I make good on all my promises Sam. Beware.

This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. They are dishonest, and have no customer service skills. 1/4 rounds were never installed as per contract and walls were damaged when they lowered baseboards. Nightmare now to repair all the wall damages! Was offered a $100 discount?! Beyond offensive and ridiculous. They were milking me every dime along the way. STAY AWAY FROM LA CARPET!!!

I'd give them no stars if I could. We hired them to replace bathroom vanities and carpet. Nothing but a nightmare from the very beginning. Lied about so many things (I picked out a quartz countertop, come to find out it isn't actually quartz but quartzsite AND, they cut the countertop crooked and tried to hide it by filling in with freakin' caulk). Took three different "design" consultants to finally get the project started and even then they managed to mess up the design with doors not able to open with backsplash installed, cabinets not centered as requested and the cabinets themselves crooked. Disrespectful to women, lie about anything to get the sale then rip you off. We ended up having to fire them and have someone else come in and fix all their screw-ups, cancelled the carpet install and had someone else do it. Seriously, don't go with these guys, I don't know how they stay in business.

The crew showed up on time, did an excellent job, and was done in about 4-1/2 hours. The house was empty, which made it easier.

Things did not go like they were suppose to. They were suppose to be done before Christmas. After the first of the year they did the carpet but did not have the area rugs. We also had some padding issues. When we bought the carpet it was supposed to be their best padding and it was not.

It went wonderful.  I like the price and their willingness to work with me on the price because the carpet is a carpet wherever you go. So that is why I have 20 different searches that I've searched.  The guy was really nice and I referred my brother to him.   He did a great job for him for his needs.  They were really good.
