CLEAN GREEN WITH CARPET KING

First off all, if you get an estimate from this company, assume they are asking for at least twice as much as they really think they are worth. Then don't expect great work. Two guys arrived. I originally wanted just an estimate. The head guy estimated the job at about $830, then applied a "15% discount" to bring it down to $721. That was outrageous, so I said no. So he asked me how much I wanted to pay, and eventually brought the price down to $399. He assured me he'd do great work. I accepted that price, but in retrospect it still was too high. The two guys were here for a couple of hours. I thought they were going to seal the tile and the grout, but apparently they just sealed the grout -- and didn't do a great job of that either, because the tile already is getting dirty. The pet stains still are visible on the carpet. After giving me the estimate, the guy asked me "what's for breakfast?" because he "had to hurry over." (I brewed him a pot of coffee.) Then when he left, he implied he wanted a tip. He also said his credit card machine wasn't working and that he wanted a check -- but ultimately he took my credit card.
