Wow...Wow...Wow! We have a GE Profile Washer and Dryer. The washer stopped spinning. We have always relied on GE for the few issues we have had with this set since purchased in 2009. They are expensive and can take a while to get an appointment so after making an appointment that would have been on Dec. 9, we decided to look elsewhere as we didn't want to wait that long. Found Action Appliance via Yelp and Google reviews. With such outstanding reviews and testimonials we gave them a call. It happened to be on Saturday morning and they were closed. We left a message and received a call back first thing Monday morning and lo and behold had an appointment the next afternoon between 3 and 5. Mark Jr arrived a little after 3pm. He was friendly, respectful and set right to work. He found nothing immediately and performed a factory reset. Tested the machine through a complete short cycle and it was performing exactly as we hoped and expected. Mark also gave us some tips on using both our washer and dryer and suggest a couple of self maintenance items we could do ourselves. He also troubleshot a small problem with our dryer and didn't encourage us to have a costly repair that may never present a real problem. (A partially broken hinge on the dryer door.) Everything was working just fine when he was done and for only $10 more than just the GE service call would have been. They also will apply the cost of the call and repair should we find the problem is not fully resolved during the next thirty days. Peace of mind! A great family owned and operated business. Wife thinking that a poor bird was caught in our dryer loud "Chirping" sound when she turned on the dryer ! No, No Bird in the Drum ! But old, worn out, rubber dryer belts (like a car fan belt(s) ) and smaller wheels that allow the dryer drum to turn. Found them through our handy man Larry of "Larry Honey-Do Services" [*** Link removed ***] on Angie's List. 1.Appointment: Easy & Simple . 2.Came Out On Time, Very Professional ! and not like others, they actually had the "Replacement Parts" and correct tools on their truck ! 3. Work was done quickly, very clean, very efficient . 4. We liked that they show and give you in a clear plastic bag for you to see the broken parts that were actually replaced. 4. "Yes" we would hire again. Call out and fix fee was very reasonable. (compare to buying an expensive new dryer)

This company truly understands customer service. The Friday before Christmas, our washing machine started leaking badly - I could see that the rubber seal around the door was torn. I called Action Appliance and described the problem, and they gave me an estimate. Once I verbally approved the estimate, they were willing to order the part and schedule a service time. This happened on the same day. By the following Wednesday the job was done. Given that there was a weekend and the Christmas holiday in between, this means that the job was done in 2 business days and only required one visit by Action Appliance because of their willingness to order the part in advance and arrive at our house prepared to do the job.

When I called Action Appliance Repair, Sue (the office manager/dispatcher) arranged for her repair team (Mark and Mark, father and son) to come to the house later the same day. They identified two problems, repaired one immediately, and ordered a part which they returned and installed three days later. In the interim, they placed a portable fan at the the rear of the refrigerator so as to allow it to function until the new part (fan motor) arrived. Due to their efforts, I was able to keep a refrigerator that has sentimental value and would have been disruptive and expensive to replace. I could not be more pleased with the service they provided, and for this I thank Sue, Mark Sr. and Mark Jr. They really went above and beyond. Their excellent reputation in the local community is fully deserved.

It works fine. Mark and Mark Jr. were great. Very professional. I had called other places. Nobody was interested in working on it. I'll call these guys first from now on.

These guys were great to work with. The appointment set up was easy; they were on time, fully explained the problem and the fix and really did a nice job. Price was very fair and the service was great. I spent a lot of time looking for an appliance repair company and so many companies had mixed reviews so I was a little skeptical of their A ratings.. Not any more, they deserve their A rating. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to use them again. Thanks guys for a great job.

Two technicians came out and diagnosed the problem as dirt accumulation on the blower which was throwing it out of balance and causing vibration when spinning. They were fast and professional and only charged me the diagnostic fee. The also pointed out to the need to call the dryer vent cleaning service (by others) as the flow of air from the dryer to the outlet on the side of the house was too low. I would recommend them and would use them again.

I liked them - they're really good and nice, on time, and even cleaned the back of my refrigerator.

They did very well.  They offered suggestions on other appliances while they were there so I feel they went above and beyond.  They are very helpful and polite.

Greawt service from the first call. A pleasure to have help like this.

I was really pleased with them. My experience with them was excellent. They came out and diagnosed my problem and got it fixed. They were not guessing, which I appreciated. I am sure I paid more for parts, but I got it done in a fair amount of time and they did it for a fair price.

The computer board had failed to defrost the refrigerator, so the frost had built up and the fresh food compartment was getting warmer each day. Mark and Mark, Jr. manually defrosted the coils and had to order the computer board. When the board arrived, they came over to replace it. All is well now.
I can't say enough good things about Mark and Mark, Jr. They were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and clean. Plus, the price they charged was reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Mark and Mark Jr. were both great guys. They were the nicest people, I would hire them again in a nano second. Fantastic service, price was great, and he said if I ever had any problems again he would come right back out.

They are amazing. Honest, on time, and they had originally quoted $135 on the phone and when they got here, Mark told me the cost would only be $62.00. No body is that honest any more. I would use them again in a minute. Mark and Mark( older and younger) came out, they were very polite and really fast. Can't say enough about this company.

I didn't realize that my 7 year old Maytag refrigerator with bottom freezer had defrosted because the fan was running quietly and the outside of the refrigerator was cold to the touch! This was late Saturday evening and all the food in the freezer had o be thrown out and rest of the salvageable food were in two small coolers with bags of ice--messy!
Monday morning I called Action Appliance and spoke to Mark who was very sympathetic and said he would be out here between 2 and 4pm same day. He and his son arrived promptly at 1:55pm and immediately pulled out the refrigerator and discovered the problem. The compressor was fine (thank goodness) but needed to replace the start relay for the compressor and had everything running smoothly within a few minutes They were done by 2:30pm.
Both Mark and his son were very courteous and professional--explaining the problem and the charges. I would certainly recommend
them to everyone.

Action was upfront on what the charge would be to come out and check out the problems. They were on-time and able to determine the cause and repair the dishwasher. They researched and reviewed cost of parts needed to repair the ice-maker, and with my approval ordered and installed them.
I will was very happy with Action Appliance.
