We were impressed from the very first day when Mario showed up—it was clear that he was reliable. He was sincere and thorough with the pricing. Although we were surprised when he asked us to pay extra for the dirt and requested it halfway through the job, we discussed it, and he agreed to settle the matter fairly. Mario consistently followed through on what he said he would do. He did a great job—especially considering that my business partner, Sarah, is extremely precise and particular when it comes to details and quality. For potential clients, I recommend clearly outlining the payment terms, who will provide the dirt, the type of concrete (PSI), whether fiber/rebar will be included, and the cleanup expectations. All of this should be clearly spelled out in the contract. Mario handwrites everything, which is fine—his handwriting is actually very neat. I’ve read some of the other reviews, and I agree—it’s hard to find honest contractors these days. Yes, I highly recommend Mario.

Mario is a good example of honesty and integrity. As a General Contractor these two character traits mean everything. Mario Concrete Works gave us a fair price, showed up at the time they said they would, and performed the work with neatness and great quality. They got the job done in the time they said it would take. And, when finished with the work they cleaned up and left the place as if they had never been there. We will be calling upon them again for future work.
