I changed out my washing machine hoses but because the threading on the plastic hot water inlet had been stripped when the machine was originally installed, the connection to the new hose leaked badly. We tried several times to get a water tight connection with no success Replacing the stripped inlet at the back of the machine requires installing  a whole new inlet valve. For my model,  that's a complicated procedure and I decided to call an appliance repairman on Angie's List to handle it for me.

 Bill told me he would be happy to replace the valve assembly for me but he was concerned that on a machine of this age (13 years old), that might open up a can of worms with regards to other water connections to the valve. He was sincerely concerned about being helpful and suggested a very simple fix for me to try out first - if that didn't work, I should call him back. His suggestion worked like a charm.

I will be keeping Bill's number handy for any future help that I might need with my appliances.

I called Bill on 09/29 and he came by in the morning on 09/30. He was punctual, courteous and did a good job. Cleaned up after himself, as well as brushed out all of the stuff that had accumulated under our stove. I will definitely call him next time we need an appliance repaired and will refer him to others.

Services where excellent. Called and left msg call was returned within half hour and date and time where set up. Bill showed up on time and figured out the problem. He had the parts that were needed and was finished within a half hr. Very congenial and put everything back together for me.

Overall OK! He was able to come out within a reasonable period of time. He repaired a washing machine for me and while everything is working well, there is one piece that could have been put back together a little bit better. This happened between March or April. I rate him an 'A' overall. I would use him again in the future.

In and out in twenty minutes. I would use him again.

We have a JennAir range  and the oven had quit working.  I explained over the phone what the problem was and Bill felt it was the igniter.  We set an appt for the next day, he arrived on time and found he had diagnosed the problem correctly.  He had a new igniter with him, installed it very efficiently and was on his way.  As a courtesy when I mentioned that my washer seemed to shake a lot at top spin speed, he took a quick look to be sure it was level.  It was, but he explained that because it sat on a base rather than directly on the floor, it would have a tendency to shake.  It eased my mind as I was afraid there was a problem there as well.  We were quite pleased with the service and his professional demeanor.  Without a doubt we will call on him again should the need for his type of service be required.

Wow, I'm still shaking my head from how fast Bill showed up, after I called him (based on Angie's list review). 
My fridge in the garage died. It's a GE and only about 7 years old. It just stopped working this morning. I called GE service call center first and that was a complete waste of time.
He was here within 20 minutes (ok, maybe a little luck in my timing there), was extremely nice. While on the phone he suggested what might be the problem, based on the symptoms and as it turned out, that is exactly what it was. 
I  thought maybe the compressor went, but it was only the motherboard in the fridge, which he said is a relatively common issue, especially in the "newer" fridges. 
Within 2 hours or discovering my fridge didn't work, it was fixed. It ended up being a lot less than I thought it might be.  He was in and out within 30 minutes. 
Rarely will you find a contractor who's that friendly and honest.
I would highly recommend Bill to anyone who needs a large appliance repaired.

I have worked with many appliance guys over the years. This man was truly honest. Unlike most appliance guys he charged me a low nominal fee to diagnose the the fridge and tell me what was wrong with it. He told me he would apply the fee to the labor if he fixed the problem. The fee was so reasonable I couldn't refuse. When he got to my home, he told me the motherboard was bad and he thought he could repair it but also told me he couldn't promise me how long it would work. It could work for 3 weeks or 3 years but that he would only charge me $45.00 if I decided to go that route or I could invest in a new motherboard which would cost  approx $160.00. I chose the $45.00 and the fridge works great for now. I liked that he gave me choices upfront and I really felt he was trying to earn my trust. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for price, quality of work and honesty when dealing with a appliance repairman.

This guy was great and helpful. He charged me a very good price. He fixed my washing machine, replacing the parts that it needed. He threw in parts on hand for free. The process took about an hour.

They fixed the problem. I spent around $100 for their service. I don’t think I was even here when they came. They did what they were supposed to do. When it comes to the price, I don’t have any point of reference on that. Their responsiveness was good and they were on time. My experience with them was fine. I would use their services again.

He did an excellent job.  A button was frozen that turns on the light when you open the door.  He also fixed my dryer vent.  His prices were much cheaper than the other quotes that I recieved. 

Their prices were the cheapest of the three service providers that I called.  He was honest and told what he thought I should do.  He was shocked to find out that the coldness settings were set so high. He told me to put the settings to a lower level and it started working properly again.  He didn't even have to come out to fix my refrigerator and he didn't charge me a penny. 

THEY'RE REALLY NICE. THEY ARE LOCAL, ITS LIKE CALLING UP A NEIGHBOR. IT'S KIND OF A NEIGHBORHOOD PLACE. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR OWN MESS, THEY DIDN'T LEAVE IT FOR ME.
