We thought our house in Arrowhead had a leaky ceiling, as material would drip off the inside wood ceilings in several rooms. This kept happening until we also noticed moisture in some of the roof beams. Rob was recommended to us by a friend. He investigated and proceeds to attempt several fixes. One fix involved removing drywall in a bed room. Upon removing the drywall, he discovered the furnace exhaust was not connected, letting warm moist air and exhaust into the house instead of it venting. To repair the extensive damage caused by the moisture and just old age of some components led us to a reconstruction project that took the entire Summer. He made some excellent suggestions for design improvements. The house was built in 1963, and the bathrooms had had some cosmetic work done, but they needed upgrading. The quality of his work, including a new wooden stairway, and new bathroom tile and wooden cabinets,was first rate. Unexpectedly good. As a result, we've ended up with a remodel that turned an old cabin into a real home. If you have a building or remodeling project in the Arrowhead/Big Bear area, I highly recommend Rob for the quality of his work. He doesn't take short cuts, but does the job right.
