hardwood floor
 + -1 moreThis guy knows his stuff! All he does is floors! I thought that the vendor referred to me through the Costco flooring program would be the best price. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG! They wanted $12,000 for the same job with an inferior flooring product. They said, you get a $1000 Costco gift card. Wow, I wonder how they can afford to give me $1000 in Costco gift cards? Maybe Costco should stick to selling toilet paper and chips because their outsourced vendors they have relationships with do not provide Costco prices! I have had many problems with contractors in the past where they do not show up on time and do not do what they say they will do. However, Tadd showed up on time and got the job done quicker than he suggested!
Description of Work: I had 1000 sq feet of tile in my first level of my house which I wanted removed and replaced with wood. I had at least 10 vendors (many of which i found on Angie's List) come out to give me bids. From the guys who wanted to put a wood floor over my existing floor (because it would supposedly save me money, Wrong!), to Costco's floor vendor. All the other vendors were at least $3000 more than Tad at DinesHardwood. Not only that but the quality which Tad gave me is superior. Even better than anything at Lumber Liquidators! All the other companies which came out for a bid told me how difficult the job would be. They said it would take 2 weeks to do the job. Some of the vendors said they wanted $2000 just to pull out the old floor (Tad charged me less than $500 to take out and dispose of the old floor), and would need to have a dumpster in front of my house for a week. Tad had the old floor out within 1 day! I had a new floor in and complete within 34 days!
